۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
51. O believers, do not take the Jews and Christians [47] as allies, they are allies of one another. And whoever among you allies himself with them [48] is surely one of them. Indeed, Allāh does not guide the unjust people.
[47]. Refers to those among them who are hostile toward you or who belittle the people of faith.
[48]. That is, whoever supports them against the believers or prefers their religion over Islam.
