وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡۚ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ

53. And those who believe will say [about the hypocrites after their exposure]: Are these the ones who swore by Allāh with their most solemn oath that they were indeed with you? Their deeds have become worthless, so they have become losers [49]. info

[49]. These are the hypocrites who honor Allāh with their lips while their hearts remain far from Him. Their worship is in vain, for they have abandoned the commandments of Allāh and replaced them with the traditions of men. Consequently, they earn Allah’s anger, their deceit is exposed, and all that they strove for comes to nothing. Such is the magnitude of their loss.
