24 : 8

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ لِمَا يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

24. O believers, respond to [the Call of] Allāh and [His] messenger [Muhammad] when he calls you to that which gives you [true] life ^[9]. Know that Allāh intervenes between a person and [the desires of] his heart, and that to Him you shall be [all] gathered [for Judgment].

[9]. I.e., going for war against the forces of evil.
