۞ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُۥ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمۡ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

41. Know that whatever spoils of war you may gain, one‑fifth is for Allāh, for the Messenger [14], for his relatives [15], for orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer — if you believe in Allāh and in what We revealed to Our servant [Muhammad] on the Day of Distinction, the day when the two armies met [at Badr]. And Allāh has full power over all things. info

[14]. To be spent in the cause of Allāh.
[15]. The tribes of Banu Hāshim and Banu Abdul Muṭṭalib, who are not eligible for Zakah.
