وه‌رگێڕانی ماناكان سوره‌تی سورەتی الأعلى - وەرگێڕاوی ئینگلیزی - یەعقوب - فرەفەرهەنگی قورئانی پیرۆز

Al-A‘lā

ئایه‌تی: 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى

1. Praise and glorify the Name of your Lord 'Allāh', the Most High¹.

1. Give thanks to Him and praise His Name. For Allāh is good and His love and mercy lasts forever.

ئایه‌تی: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

2. Who created 'everything' and proportioned,

ئایه‌تی: 3

وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ

3. And decreed their destinies, then guided.

ئایه‌تی: 4

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ

4. Who brings out the green pasture,

ئایه‌تی: 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ

5. Then makes it black stubble,

ئایه‌تی: 6

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ

6. We shall make you (Muhammad) 'memorize and' recite 'the Qur’an', so you will not forget,

ئایه‌تی: 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ

7. Unless Allāh wills otherwise. He knows all that is manifest or hidden.

ئایه‌تی: 8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ

8. We shall facilitate for you (to follow) the easy Way (of Islam)².

2. I.e., the doing of righteous deeds that lead to Paradise. 

ئایه‌تی: 9

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ

9. So keep on reminding, as long as the reminder should benefit.

ئایه‌تی: 10

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ

10. He who is in awe of Allāh will take heed,

ئایه‌تی: 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى

11. But the wretched will avoid (the advice),

ئایه‌تی: 12

ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

12. Who will burn in the greater Fire;

ئایه‌تی: 13

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ

13. Wherein he will neither die nor live.

ئایه‌تی: 14

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

14. He indeed will succeed and prosper who purifies himself (from evil),

ئایه‌تی: 15

وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ

15. And praise the Name of his Lord 'Allāh' and prays³.

3. The five compulsory prayers and the additional prayers. 

ئایه‌تی: 16

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

16. But you 'deniers' prefer the life of this world,

ئایه‌تی: 17

وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ

17. While the Hereafter life is better and more lasting.

ئایه‌تی: 18

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

18. This is surely in the former Scriptures,

ئایه‌تی: 19

صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ

19. The Scriptures of Abraham and Moses⁴.

4. The ten scrolls of Abraham and the Torah of Moses.
