110 : 5

110. [Remember] when Allāh will say: “O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother—when I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit [Gabriel], so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel. And [remember] when you fashioned from clay the shape of a bird, by My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird—by My permission.
And you healed the blind and the leper—by My permission, and brought the dead to life—by My permission. And [remember] when I restrained the Children of Israel from harming you when you came to them with clear proofs; yet those who disbelieved among them said, "This is nothing but obvious magic."

[82]. Among all the Messengers of God, Jesus, son of Mary, is singled out here and questioned in detail, for the most deserving of admonition are those who claim to be his followers — the Christians. While other nations denied their messengers, the Christians went further by making the gravest and most false claim about Almighty God Himself — attributing to Him a mother, wife, and child, and building their entire religion around this doctrine.
The divine favors enumerated in this verse demonstrate that Jesus was no more than a human Messenger of God, blessed and supported by Him, yet wholly dependent upon His permission.
This truth is echoed even in the Christian scriptures. In Matthew 7:22–23, Jesus (peace be upon him) is reported to have said: “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
This passage from the Gospel of Matthew stands as one of the clearest testimonies within the Bible itself that Jesus will disown those who worship him or perform deeds in his name, for he never commanded such acts. It thus refutes the claim of his divinity and affirms instead his true role — that of a prophet and servant of God.
