6 : 13

وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡمَثُلَٰتُۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةٖ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلۡمِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

6. They ask you, [O Prophet], to hasten the evil before the good, even though before them there have already passed away exemplary punishments. Yet truly, your Lord is full of forgiveness to people despite their wrongdoing, but surely, your Lord is also severe in punishment.

7 : 13

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۗ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٞۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوۡمٍ هَادٍ

7. Those who disbelieve say: "Why has no miracle been sent down upon him from his Lord?" You [O Muhammad] are only a warner, and for every people there is a guide.”

8 : 13

ٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَحۡمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلۡأَرۡحَامُ وَمَا تَزۡدَادُۚ وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقۡدَارٍ

8. Allāh knows what every female bears,
and what the wombs diminish and what they increase. And everything with Him is by due measure.

9 : 13

عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ ٱلۡمُتَعَالِ

9. [He is] the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Grand, the Most High.

10 : 13

سَوَآءٞ مِّنكُم مَّنۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡتَخۡفِۭ بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَارِبُۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ

10. It is the same to Him — whether any of you conceals his speech or speaks them openly, and whether one hides under cover of night or walks about in the light of day.

11 : 13

لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٞ مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ يَحۡفَظُونَهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمٖ سُوٓءٗا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ

11. For each person there are successive angels, before and behind him, guarding and protecting him by Allah’s command ^[4]. Indeed, Allāh does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves. But when Allāh wills harm for a people, there is no repelling it, and besides Him they have no protector.

[4]. These are the angels tasked with each human being; they alternate and take day and night shifts. There are four in each shift: one from the front and another from the back, protecting him from evil, and one from the right keeping record of his good deeds, and another on the left side recording his misdeeds.

12 : 13

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ

12. It is He [Allāh] Who shows you the lightning, inspiring fear and hope ^[5], and Who raises up the clouds, heavy [with rain].

[5]. 'Fear' of being hit by thunderbolt and 'hope' for getting rain.

13 : 13

وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنۡ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمۡ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِي ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡمِحَالِ

13. The thunder glorifies Allāh with His praise, and the angels do so out of awe of Him. He sends thunderbolts, striking with them whom He wills. Yet they dispute about Allāh, and He is tremendous in might.
