Tradução dos significados Versículo: (183) Surah: Suratu Al-Baqarah
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
183. Believers, fasting is ordained for you50, as it was ordained for those before you, so that you may fear Allah and shun evil51.
50. Muhammad, God's Messenger said, "Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven."
51. Prophet Muhammad fasted for twenty nine or thirty days of the lunar month of Ramadan every year. He used to commune with Allah in night prayers. Likewise, if you pray and fast, you can feel closer to Allah and better understand the things He wants you to do.
