Ayah: 110

كُنتُمۡ خَيۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ ءَامَنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۚ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

110. You (devout Muslims) are the best of nations raised up (as an example) for mankind. You command people to what is right (and just) and prohibit them from what is wrong (and unjust) and you believe in (the Oneness of) God. Had the people of the Scripture (the Jews and Christians) accepted the (Islamic) faith, it would have been better for them. Some of them have faith (in God and embraced Islam), but most of them are rebellious (against God).
