2
وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ وَتَثۡبِيتٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةِۭ بِرَبۡوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٞ فَـَٔاتَتۡ أُكُلَهَا ضِعۡفَيۡنِ فَإِن لَّمۡ يُصِبۡهَا وَابِلٞ فَطَلّٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
265. And the example of those who spend their wealth seeking Allāh's Pleasure and strengthening of themselves [in faith] is that of a garden on high ground, upon which heavy rain falls, so it yields its fruit in double abundance, and if even heavy rain does not fall, then a drizzle [is enough for it]. And Allāh is All-Seeing of what you do.

أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٞ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَابٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلۡكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّيَّةٞ ضُعَفَآءُ فَأَصَابَهَآ إِعۡصَارٞ فِيهِ نَارٞ فَٱحۡتَرَقَتۡۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
266. Would anyone of you like to have a garden of date palms and grapevines with rivers flowing beneath it, containing all kinds of fruits, and old age overtakes him, while he has weak offspring, and then a hurricane with fire strikes it [the garden] so it was burnt to ashes? Thus Allāh makes (His) revelations clear to you - that you may reflect (and realize the Truth).

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنفِقُواْ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا كَسَبۡتُمۡ وَمِمَّآ أَخۡرَجۡنَا لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَلَا تَيَمَّمُواْ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ مِنۡهُ تُنفِقُونَ وَلَسۡتُم بِـَٔاخِذِيهِ إِلَّآ أَن تُغۡمِضُواْ فِيهِۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
267. O believers, spend in charity from the good things you have earned and from what We have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out the bad of it to give (in charity), while you yourselves would not accept it except with reluctance. And know that Allāh is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلۡفَقۡرَ وَيَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغۡفِرَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٗاۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ
268. Satan threatens you with poverty and commands you to be miserly and indecent, while Allāh promises you Forgiveness from Himself and bounty. And Allāh is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.

يُؤۡتِي ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُؤۡتَ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ فَقَدۡ أُوتِيَ خَيۡرٗا كَثِيرٗاۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
269. He grants wisdom to whomever He wills, and whoever is granted wisdom, indeed is given abundant good [101]. And none will take heed except people of understanding.
[101]. That is why we must get wisdom, get understanding. Wisdom teaches us what to do with knowledge. And true wisdom comes from Allāh only. Our knowledge always falls short, but Allah's wisdom provides what we need.
