1. The Qur’an is made up of such letter from the Arabic alphabet. The Arabs at the time of revelation were the unmatched masters of the Arabic language and yet when challenged were totally unable to bring anything like the Qur’an. Although these disjointed Arabic letters are referring to the inimitable nature of the Qur’an and its divine source, God knows best its meaning.
2. That the matter is not as the pagans assume that Allāh has partners with Him.
4. They (the pagans) wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad) from among themselves. The deniers said: "This is a sorcerer, a liar."³
3. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him, performed many miracles because He was the last and final messenger of God to all mankind, but yet this did not convince the pagans who declared that they rather die than to let someone change their lives and ancestral customs of idol worshipping. Despite that the Prophet Muhammad was able to open the eyes of the blind, and the ears of the deaf to the Truth through the great miracle, the Qur’an, that God revealed to him. But the eminent ones of the deniers insisted in their worshipping of the idols.
6. The eminent ones among them (the idolaters) went about, saying: "Go and stand firm in devotion to your gods; this is certainly a thing designed (against you)⁴.
8. Has the Reminder (the Qur’an) been sent down to him (alone) from among us?" Rather, they are in doubt as to My reminder. Rather, they have not yet tasted My torment.
22. When they entered in upon David, he was frightened of them, they said: "Fear not." We are two disputants, of whom one has acted wrongfully towards the other, so judge between us with truth and do not act unjustly, and guide us to the right path.
24. (David) said: "He has certainly been unjust to you in demanding your ewe (to add) to his own ewes. Most partners act wrongfully towards one another, except those who believe (in Allāh) and do good deeds, and they are very few." David realized that We had tried him, so he sought the forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing and turned (to Allāh) in repentance.
26. O David, We have made you a ruler on earth⁹; so judge between the people with justice and do not follow (your own) desire, lest it should lead you astray from the Way of Allāh. Those who go astray from the Way of Allāh (i.e., Islam) they will suffer a severe torment as they forgot the Day of Reckoning.
27. We have not created the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain, that is the assumption of the deniers. Woe to the deniers from the eternal Fire.
29. (This is) a Book (Qur’an) We have sent down to you (Muhammad), full of blessings, that they may reflect over its Verses, and that those endowed with understanding may take heed.
44. (We said to him), "Take in your hand a thin bunch of grass and strike (lightly) with it¹², and do not break your oath." We found him patient. Most excellent a servant. He was oft-returning (to Us) in repentance.
12. Your wife, as Job swore to do that if Allāh would restore him to health as a punishment for her reproach to him for persevering in his Faith.
46. We chose them for an exclusive (quality) - the Remembrance of the (final) Home of the Hereafter¹³.
13. They were always remembering it and used to make the people remember it. They used also to invite the people to obey Allâh and to do good deeds for the Hereafter.
65.Say 'Muhammad': "I am only a warner¹⁴, and there is no (true) god except Allāh, the One, the All-Conquering.
14. While warnings might not always provoke positive thoughts or feelings, they often serve to spare us from unnecessary hardships and pain. In fact, the act of warning others is actually a demonstration of familial love and care for the people. The Prophet Muhammad warned us of associating partners with Allāh in worship, and sins, of murder, the danger associated with sexual immorality, unkind words that is, speech that is destructive and not redemptive toward others, ungodliness, rather to live a sensible and righteous life before Allāh, he warned us of stealing, and, instead, advised to work for the things that we need in this life. He warned us of the threat that the devil poses to the people. They must resist the devil and draw near to Allāh. The Muslim highest allegiance must be to Allāh and Allāh alone. In keeping with the last warning, The Prophet Muhammad addressed us to humble ourselves before Allāh and to do nothing that is motivated by selfishness, but rather in humility considering others as more important, and our need to submit to Allāh and humble ourselves before Him, so that we might be exalted by Allāh. Allāh gives grace to the humble ones. No matter what situation we find ourselves in, the right response is always humility before Allāh.
71. (Remember) when 'Allāh' your Lord told the angels: "I am going to create a mortal man 'Adam' out of clay15,
15. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “Allāh created Adam in His image, and he was sixty cubits tall. When he created him he said, ‘Go and greet that group of angels who are sitting and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendents.’ So he said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alaykum (peace be upon you),’ and they said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alayka wa rahmatullaah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh.’ So they added (the words) ‘wa rahmatullaah.’ Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, but mankind continued to grow shorter until now.” From this statement of the Prophet we learn that it is proven that Allāh has an image, in a manner that befits Him, may He be glorified and exalted. His image is one of His attributes which cannot be likened to the attributes of created beings, just as His essence cannot be likened to their essence
75. 'Allāh' said: "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to him whom I have created with My two hands? Are you too proud or think yourself as high?"
