Sād

1. Saad¹. By the Qur’an, full of Admonition².
1. The Qur’an is made up of such letter from the Arabic alphabet. The Arabs at the time of revelation were the unrivalled masters of the Arabic language and yet when challenged were totally unable to bring anything like the Qur’an. Despite this fact, the inimitable nature of the Qur’an and its divine source, God knows best the meaning of these disjointed Arabic letters.
2. That the matter is not as the pagans assume that God has partners with Him.
2. Yet those who deny (the Truth of Islam) are entrenched in (false) pride and dissension.
3. How many a (sinful) generation have We destroyed before them, and they cried out when it was too late for them to escape.
4. They (the pagans) wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad) from among themselves. The deniers said: "This is a sorcerer, a liar."³
3. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, performed many miracles because He was the last and final messenger of God to all mankind, but yet this did not convince the pagans who declared that they rather die than to let someone change their lives and ancestral customs of idol worshipping. Despite that the Prophet Muhammad was able to open the eyes of the blind, and the ears of the deaf to the Truth through the great miracle, the Qur’an, that God revealed to him. But the eminent ones of the deniers insisted in their worshipping of the idols.
5. Has he (Muhammad) condemned all other gods except One (the Supreme) God (of perfect and absolute Oneness - Allah)? This is certainly a strange thing.
6. The eminent ones of them (the idolaters) went about, saying: "Go and stand firm in devotion to your gods; this is certainly a thing designed (against you)⁴.
4. Planned by Muhammad in order to dominate you.
7. We never heard of (a claim like) this in any faith of latter days⁵. This is nothing but the invention (of a mortal man).
5. Referring to the faith of Jesus or possibly the pagan religion.
8. Has the Reminder (the Qur’an) been sent down to him (alone) from among us?" Rather, they are in doubt as to My reminder. Rather, they have not yet tasted My torment.

6. To try to block the ways of heavens so that Our revelations cannot come to you.

12. Before them, the people of Noah, ‘Aad, and Pharaoh, who possessed mighty armies and a great kingdom, rejected (the messengers of God).
13. (So also did) Thamud, the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the wooded thicket (of Midian). Such were the (disbelieving) allies.

22. When they entered in upon David, he was frightened of them, they said: "Fear not." We are two disputants, of whom one has acted wrongfully towards the other, so judge between us with truth and do not act unjustly, and guide us to the right path.

24. (David) said: "He has certainly been unjust to you in demanding your ewe (to add) to his own ewes. Most partners act wrongfully towards one another, except those who believe (in Allah) and do good deeds, and they are very few."

65.Say (Muhammad): "I am only a warner¹⁴, and there is no (true) God except Allah, the One, the Subduer (of All),
14. While warnings might not always provoke positive thoughts or feelings, they often serve to spare us from unnecessary hardships and pain. In fact, the act of warning others is actually a demonstration of familial love and care for the people. The Prophet Muhammad warned us of associating partners with Allah and sins, of killing, the danger associated with sexual immorality, unkind words that is, speech that is destructive and not redemptive toward others, ungodliness, rather to live a sensible and righteous life before Allah (God), he warned us of stealing, and, instead, advised to work for the things that we need in this life. He warned us of the threat that the devil poses to the people. They must resist the devil and draw near to Allah. The Muslim highest allegiance must be to Allah and Allah alone. In keeping with the last warning, The Prophet Muhammad addressed us to humble ourselves before Allah and to do nothing that is motivated by selfishness, but rather in humility considering others as more important, and our need to submit to Allah and humble ourselves before Him, so that we might be exalted by Allah. Allah gives grace to the humble ones. No matter what situation we find ourselves in, the right response is always humility before Allah.

70. I have only received revelation to give you plain warning (of Chastisement).

71. (Remember) when (Allah) your Lord told the angels: "I am going to create a mortal man out of clay,
