وَٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلۡخَٰشِعِينَ
45. Seek help through patience [20] and prayer, and indeed it is hard except for the humbly submissive [to God].
[20]. The Children of Israel who were hindered from belief out of greed and love of the world. They are commanded to seek help in patience, i.e. fasting, which dents wantonness, and Prayer because it leads to humbleness and submission to the will of God and expels haughtiness.
