Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Burūj   Ayah:

Sura Al-Burooj

Ayah: 1

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
Juro por el cosmos y sus constelaciones,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
por el día prometido [el Día del Juicio Final],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ
y por el testigo y lo atestiguado,

Ayah: 4

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
que los que arrojaron a los creyentes al foso del fuego fueron maldecidos.
Referencia a la historia de un rey incrédulo que hizo cavar un foso donde arrojó a los creyentes que no querían renegar de su fe y tomarlo a él como Dios.

Ayah: 5

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
En el foso encendieron un fuego ardiente,

Ayah: 6

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ
y se sentaron en sus bordes

Ayah: 7

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
para presenciar lo que cometían contra los creyentes,

Ayah: 8

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
cuya única culpa para merecer ese castigo era creer en Dios, el Poderoso, el Loable,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 9

ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
a Quien pertenece el reino de los cielos y de la tierra. Dios es testigo de todo.

Ayah: 10

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
Quienes persigan a los creyentes y a las creyentes y no se arrepientan [antes de morir], sufrirán en el Infierno un castigo abrasador.

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
En cambio, quienes hayan creído y obrado correctamente serán recompensados con jardines por donde corren los ríos. Ese es el triunfo grandioso.

Ayah: 12

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
¡Pero el castigo de tu Señor es severo!

Ayah: 13

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
Él da origen y reproduce.

Ayah: 14

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ
Él es el Absolvedor, el Afectuoso.

Ayah: 15

ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ
Señor del Trono, el Majestuoso.

Ayah: 16

فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
Hacedor de Su voluntad.

Ayah: 17

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ
¿Has escuchado la historia de los ejércitos [criminales]

Ayah: 18

فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ
del Faraón y del pueblo de Zamud [que desmintieron a los Mensajeros y los destruí]?

Ayah: 19

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ
Sin embargo, los que niegan la verdad continúan desmintiendo.

Ayah: 20

وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ
Pero Dios los domina sin que lo sepan.

Ayah: 21

بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ
Este es un Corán glorioso

Ayah: 22

فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ
que está registrado en la Tabla Protegida.
