سورة النحل - An-Nahl
أَتَىٰٓ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوهُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
1. Allah’s Command (Judgment) has draw near¹, so do not seek to hasten it; Glory be to Him, and Highly Exalted is He above all that they associate with Him (in worship)².
1. Allah’s Punishment is imminent and certain for the idolaters and the deniers, and the Day of Judgment is approaching.
2. Polytheism is associating partners with Allah and the most grievous of all sins, as Allah warned against it right after mentioning the imminence of the Hour of Doom. Allah warns against idolatry and calls for pure monotheism in the two subsequent verses as well.

التفاسير العربية:
يُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ
2. He sends down the angels with the Divine inspiration of His command to whom He wills of His servants, saying: "Give the Warning that there is no God (worthy of worship) except Me (Allah), so fear Me and shun evil."

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
3. He has created the heavens and the earth³ for a genuine purpose. Highly is He, Exalted above all that they associate with Him (of idols and false gods).
3. Allah's foremost undisputed sign of Power is that of creation, especially that of the largest humanly perceivable creations, the heavens and earth, over which none else is capable.

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞ
4. As soon as he becomes strong and independent.

وَتَحۡمِلُ أَثۡقَالَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ بَٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلۡأَنفُسِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ
7. They also carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Your Lord (Allah) is certainly Ever-Kind, All-Merciful.

وَٱلۡخَيۡلَ وَٱلۡبِغَالَ وَٱلۡحَمِيرَ لِتَرۡكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةٗۚ وَيَخۡلُقُ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
8. He (created) horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as an adornment. He will yet create what you do not know⁶.
6. All means of transport - by air, sea, land and even in space, which became possible only by His power and grace.

يُنۢبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرۡعَ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
11. He causes to grow for you thereby corn, 'rice', olives, palm trees, grapevines, and of all fruits. There is certainly a Sign in this for a people who reflect (and realize the Truth)⁷.
7. God reveals himself through the Qur’an. The Qur’an is God's very Word. It is the holy and inerrant Book, telling us who God is, who we are, and what God has done for our salvation. God revealed himself through His last and final messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and through the other prophets before him such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ, peace be upon them all. For God's blessings and favors are unlimited.

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتُۢ بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
12. He has made subservient for you the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars are made subservient by His command. In this there are certainly evidences (of the Onness of God)8 for a people who understand.
8. The Oneness of God, His being and His attributes. It is to believe and testify with absolute certainty that there is no other partner as such besides Allah, that there exists no other being as High and Exalted that He is, and also to believe in all the Attributes of Allah, and there can be none who can possess them.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ مِنۡهُ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُواْ مِنۡهُ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
14. It is Allah Who has made the sea subservient that you may find therein fresh fish for food and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear. You see the ships plowing through it, that you might seek of His bounty, and that you may give thanks (to Him).

وَعَلَٰمَٰتٖۚ وَبِٱلنَّجۡمِ هُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ

أَفَمَن يَخۡلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخۡلُقُۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
18. If you would count all of Allah’s Favors, you could never enumerate them10. Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
10. Allah deserves our gratitude, “Praise Allah, and forget not all his blessings."
The countless ways God’s at work—assuring us of forgiveness, working healing in our bodies and hearts, letting us experience “love and compassion” and countless “good things” in His creation.
While not all suffering will find complete healing in this lifetime, our hearts can always be renewed by gratitude, for Allah’s love is with us.

وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَ

أَمۡوَٰتٌ غَيۡرُ أَحۡيَآءٖۖ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبۡعَثُونَ

إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٞ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
22. Your (real) God is (only Allah), One God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are in denial, and they are (foolishly) bold and arrogant12.
12. Scorning to believe in the Oneness of God and to accept the Truth.
التفاسير العربية:
لِيَحۡمِلُوٓاْ أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ كَامِلَةٗ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَمِنۡ أَوۡزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
25. That they may bear their burdens entirely on the Day of Resurrection and the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge. Evil is that which they bear.

قَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡيَٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
26. Those before them had also devised evil plans, but Allah demolished their houses from their very foundations, so the roof fell down on them from above them, and the torment came to them from where they never expected.

ثُمَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يُخۡزِيهِمۡ وَيَقُولُ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآءِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تُشَٰٓقُّونَ فِيهِمۡۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ إِنَّ ٱلۡخِزۡيَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَٱلسُّوٓءَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
27. Then on the Day of Resurrection Allah will disgrace them and say: "Where are the idols, for whose sake you were hostile to the believers?" Those who were given the knowledge will say: "The disgrace and misery are this day upon the deniers."

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ فَأَلۡقَوُاْ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِن سُوٓءِۭۚ بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
28. Those whom the angels cause to die, while they are unjust to themselves. They then offer (false) submission (saying): "We used not to do any evil." (But they will be answered): "Yes, indeed you did. Allah is the Knower of all that you used to do.

۞ وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ مَاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمۡۚ قَالُواْ خَيۡرٗاۗ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٞۚ وَلَدَارُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ خَيۡرٞۚ وَلَنِعۡمَ دَارُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
30. When those who fear God are asked: "What is it that your Lord (Allah) has sent down (to Prophet Muhammad)?" They say: "All that is good." For those who do good in this world is goodness, and the Home of the Hereafter is better. How excellent is the Home of the pious.

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ يَقُولُونَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
32. Those whom the angels cause to die in a good and pure state13, saying: "Peace be with you, enter Paradise as a reward for your good deeds."
13. I.e. pure from evil, and worshipping none but Allâh Alone.

هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
33. Do (the deniers) wait for anything except that the angels come to them or that the Command of (Allah) your Lord comes to pass. Thus did those before them. Allah is not unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves.

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖ نَّحۡنُ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ فَهَلۡ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
35. The pagans said: "If Allah (God) had willed, we would not have worshiped anything besides Him, neither us nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (Authority from) Him. Thus did those before them. Is then anything incumbent upon the Messengers except a plain delivery (of the Message)?

وَلَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ فَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
36. To every nation We sent a Messenger, saying: "Worship Allah alone and shun the fake dieties." So there were some of them whom Allah guided and others were doomed to go astray. So travel through the land, then see what was the end of the deniers (of the Truth, opposers of Peace).
التفاسير العربية:
إِن تَحۡرِصۡ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَن يُضِلُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ
37. Even if you desire eagerly for their guidance, yet Allah does not guide such as He leaves to stray14, nor shall they have any helpers.
14. Because of his arrogance and persistence in sin.

وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَا يَبۡعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُۚ بَلَىٰ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡهِ حَقّٗا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
38. They swear by Allah their most binding oaths (that): "Allah will not resurrect the one who dies." Yes, He will. It is a true Promise binding on Him15, but most people do not know;
15. In a statement of Messenger of God (ﷺ): "God said: ‘The son of Adam has accused Me of lying, while he has no right to do so, and he insulted Me, while he has no right to do so. His accusing Me of lying is his saying: “He shall not recreate me as He created me at first.” The first creation is by no means easier for Me than recreation.’ His insulting Me is his saying: “God has taken a son (to Himself)”, when I am the One, the Oft-Beseeched, I begot none, nor was I begotten. None is equal to Me."
التفاسير العربية:
إِنَّمَا قَوۡلُنَا لِشَيۡءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدۡنَٰهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
16. Allah's Absolute Glory and Power is highlighted here. The realization of His ability to create are carried out by His word, 'Be' and it is.

وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ فِي ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٗۖ وَلَأَجۡرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
41. Those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah after suffering oppression, We shall certainly give them a good abode in the world, and the reward of the Hereafter is much greater, if they but knew;

ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
17. They trust that their Protector and Savoir is none but Allah alone. Putting one’s trust in Allah is the base for all good deeds. No sincere deed exists nor can it be perfected without it. Putting one’s trust in Allah is the top of sincere Faith.
التفاسير العربية:
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٗا نُّوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ فَسۡـَٔلُوٓاْ أَهۡلَ ٱلذِّكۡرِ إِن كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
43. We did not send before you (Muhammad) any but men to whom We sent Revelation - so ask the people of the Reminder (the previous scriptures), if you do not know.

بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِۗ وَأَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
44. (We sent them) with clear Proofs and Scriptures; and We have sent down to you (Muhammad) the Reminder (Qur’an)18 that you may make clear to the people what was sent to them, and that they may reflect (and realize the Truth).
18. The Qur’an is reminder in that it constantly makes mention of what people need for the betterment of their lives; it also reminds people of God Almighty and the Last Day; and that it is a cause of laudable mention and high repute.

أَفَأَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَكَرُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَخۡسِفَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
45. Then do they who devise evil plans, feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the torment may not seize them from where they do not expect?

أَوۡ يَأۡخُذَهُمۡ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمۡ فَمَا هُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٖ يَتَفَيَّؤُاْ ظِلَٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدٗا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ
48. Do they not see that the shadows of all things Allah has created turn to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah (alone) while they are in full submission.

وَلِلَّهِۤ يَسۡجُدُۤ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
49. To Allah prostrates19 (and submits) all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth of a living creature, as well as the angels, and they disdain not (from it).
19. The prostration of rational beings is their worship and surrender to Allah Almighty; however, the prostration of irrational beings is their falling in with Allah Almighty’s subjection, and the execution of His Command. The prostration of creatures to Allah is of two kinds: a prostration of necessity which is evidence of His Perfect Attributes. This prostration is general for all creatures, whether believers or unbelievers, pious or rebellious. The other kind is the prostration of willingness which is specific to Allah’s believing servants, the angels, and other creatures.

يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ۩
20. When the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite the Qur’an, and came upon a Chapter in which there is prostration, he would prostrate and people would prostrate with him. The Messenger of God (ﷺ) used to say in this prostration: “Sajada wajhī li-lladhī khalaqahu wa shaqqa fīhi samʿahu wa baṣarahu bi-ḥawlihi wa quwwatih. Allāhumma ktub lī bihā ʿindaka ajran, wa ḍaʿ ʿannī bihā wizran, wa jʿalhā lī ʿindaka dhukhran, wa taqabbalhā minnī kamā taqabbaltahā min ʿabdika Dāwūd".
"My face has prostrated to He -Allah- Who created it and slit in it its hearing and sight with His ability and power. O Allah, record for me this one as a reward, eliminate me with it a sin of mine, make it a deposit for me with You and accept it from me as You have accepted it from Your servant, David."

۞ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ إِلَٰهَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ فَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ
51. Allah (God) has said: "Do not take for yourselves two gods, He (Allah) is but One God; so be in awe (and reverence) of Me21."
21. The Prophet Muhammad said: "If anyone testifies that Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh Alone) Who has no partners, and that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, and that Jesus is Allâh’s slave and His Messenger and His Word ("Be", and he was) which He bestowed on Mary and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real, and Hell is real, Allâh will admit him into Paradise with the deeds which he had done even if those deeds were few."

يَتَوَٰرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ مِن سُوٓءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِۦٓۚ أَيُمۡسِكُهُۥ عَلَىٰ هُونٍ أَمۡ يَدُسُّهُۥ فِي ٱلتُّرَابِۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ
59. He hides himself from the people because of the alleged bad news he was given. (Debating within himself): "Shall he keep it with dishonour or bury it (alive) in the dust?" Evil is what they decide!

لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مَثَلُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۖ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
60. For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is an evil attribute, and for Allah is the Highest Attribute (that He alone is deserving of all worship). He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيۡهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةٗ وَلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
61. If Allah were to take the people (immediately) for their iniquities, He would not leave on the earth a single (living) creature, but He gives them respite until an appointed time. When their term comes, they will not be able to delay (it) an hour, nor will they advance it.
التفاسير العربية:
وَيَجۡعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكۡرَهُونَۚ وَتَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفۡرَطُونَ
62. They ascribe to Allah that which they dislike (i.e., daughters)22 and their tongues relate the lie that they will have the best (from Him)23. No doubt for them is the Fire, and they will be the first to be hastened into it and to be left there neglected.
22. That is, their saying that the angels are God’s daughters, while they dislike having daughters.
23. That they will be rewarded goodly both in this world and in the Hereafter.

التفاسير العربية:
تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
63. By Allah, We sent (messengers) to nations before you (Muhammad), but Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them24, so he is their patron today, and they will have a painful torment.
24. Such as disbelief, polytheism, rejecting the Messenger, and other evil deeds.
التفاسير العربية:
وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
64. We have only sent down to you (Muhammad) the Book (this Qur’an) that you may make clear to them that about which they differ25, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.
25. I.e., worshiping Allah alone, the Resurrection, and the rules of the Islamic Law.
التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَسۡمَعُونَ
65. Allah sends water from the sky, giving life to the earth after its death. In this there is certainly evidence (of the Truth) for a people who listen.
التفاسير العربية:
وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةٗۖ نُّسۡقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ فَرۡثٖ وَدَمٖ لَّبَنًا خَالِصٗا سَآئِغٗا لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
66. There is certainly a lesson for you in the cattle. We give you to drink of what is in their bellies - produced between excretion and blood ـ pure milk, pleasant to (its) drinkers.
التفاسير العربية:
وَمِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنۡهُ سَكَرٗا وَرِزۡقًا حَسَنًاۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
67. And of the fruits of the date-palms and the grapevines, you make intoxicants and goodly provision26. In this there is certainly evidence (of the Truth) for a people who understand.
26. This Verse was revealed before the prohibition of intoxicants. It alludes to the fact that there are both evil and good possibilities in certain things.
التفاسير العربية:
ثُمَّ كُلِي مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسۡلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلٗاۚ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٞ لِّلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
69. Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord (Allah) submissively27. There comes forth from within them a liquid of varying colors, in which there is healing28 for the people. There is certainly a Sign in this for a people who reflect (and realize the Truth).
27. The bees humbled themselves on the abated routes that Allah inspired them to take, which made their lives easy, beneficial, and in tune with His great Plan. How would the lives of humans be if they humbled themselves on the Path of Allah (Islam), and did not pursue their own misleading ways?
28. Of the things that are said to be healing (a cure) in the Qur’an are the Qur’an itself and honey.

التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرۡذَلِ ٱلۡعُمُرِ لِكَيۡ لَا يَعۡلَمَ بَعۡدَ عِلۡمٖ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٞ قَدِيرٞ
70. Allah has created you, then He causes you to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, Most Powerful.
التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعۡضَكُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فِي ٱلرِّزۡقِۚ فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُواْ بِرَآدِّي رِزۡقِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌۚ أَفَبِنِعۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَجۡحَدُونَ
71. Allah has favored some of you over others in means of sustenance, then those who are favored do not give away their sustenance to their slaves, so that they may be equal thereof29. Is it then the Favor of Allah (Islamic Monotheism) which they deny (by ascribing partners to Allah)?

التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةٗ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِۚ أَفَبِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ وَبِنِعۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ هُمۡ يَكۡفُرُونَ
72. Allah has made for you spouses from yourselves, and has given you through your spouses sons and grandsons, and has given you of the good things. Do they then believe in false deities and deny the Favor of Allah (by not singling Him out in worship)?
التفاسير العربية:
فَلَا تَضۡرِبُواْ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
30. As there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything.

التفاسير العربية:
۞ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبۡدٗا مَّمۡلُوكٗا لَّا يَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ وَمَن رَّزَقۡنَٰهُ مِنَّا رِزۡقًا حَسَنٗا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنۡهُ سِرّٗا وَجَهۡرًاۖ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوُۥنَۚ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
75. Allah sets forth an example: (Consider) an enslaved person who has control of nothing (of himself and worldly provision), and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance, so he spends from it secretly and openly. Are the two alike? All Praise be to Allah. But most of them do not know32.
32. That all favors, blessings and graces are from Allah alone, none owns them but He, and besides Allah there is no God.
التفاسير العربية:
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا رَّجُلَيۡنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبۡكَمُ لَا يَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوۡلَىٰهُ أَيۡنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأۡتِ بِخَيۡرٍ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
76. Allah sets forth (another) example (for the invalidity of idolatry) of two men: one of them is dumb, not able to do anything, and he is a burden to his master; wherever he sends him, he brings no good. Can he then be considered equal to the one who maintains justice and follows the straight Path?33
33. Allah alone guides to the Truth and worthy to be followed, there is none like Him, and there is no God besides Him.
التفاسير العربية:
وَلِلَّهِ غَيۡبُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَآ أَمۡرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمۡحِ ٱلۡبَصَرِ أَوۡ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
77. To Allah belongs the unseen things of the heavens and the earth. The matter of the Hour (of Doom) is but as the twinkling of an eye or it is closer still. Allah has full Power over all things.
التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ أَخۡرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
78. Allah brought you out from the wombs of your mothers, knowing nothing, and He gave you hearing, vision, and hearts, that you may give thanks (to Him).
التفاسير العربية:
أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّيۡرِ مُسَخَّرَٰتٖ فِي جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَا يُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
79. Do they not see the birds constrained in the air of the sky? None withholds them except Allah. In this there are certainly Signs for a people who believe (in the Truth).
التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُمۡ سَكَنٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بُيُوتٗا تَسۡتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوۡمَ ظَعۡنِكُمۡ وَيَوۡمَ إِقَامَتِكُمۡ وَمِنۡ أَصۡوَافِهَا وَأَوۡبَارِهَا وَأَشۡعَارِهَآ أَثَٰثٗا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٖ
80. Allah has made your houses a place of rest for you, and He has given you tents made of the hides of cattle which you find light to carry on the day of your march and on the day of your halting, and of their wool, their fur and their hair (He has given you) household furnishings and a provision for a time.
التفاسير العربية:
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٰلٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ أَكۡنَٰنٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلۡحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُونَ
81. Allah has made for you of what He has created shelters, and He has given you in the mountains places of retreat, and He has given you garments to preserve you from the heat (and the cold) and coats of mail to protect you in your fighting. Thus does He complete His Favor upon you, that you may submit (to Him alone).
التفاسير العربية:
يَعۡرِفُونَ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
التفاسير العربية:
وَيَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ شَهِيدٗا ثُمَّ لَا يُؤۡذَنُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ
84. On the Day when We shall raise up a witness out of every nation, then there is no permission to those who denied to plead (ignorance), nor will they be allowed to appease (Allah).
التفاسير العربية:
وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ شُرَكَآءَهُمۡ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِكَۖ فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ إِلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ إِنَّكُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
86. When the idolaters see their idols, they say: "(O Allah) our Lord, these are the idols whom we worshipped instead of You." But they (the idols) will throw back their word at them (and will say): "You are liars."
التفاسير العربية:
وَيَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ شَهِيدًا عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ وَجِئۡنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تِبۡيَٰنٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
89. On the Day when We shall raise up from every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring (Muhammad) as a witness against these (people). We have sent down the Book (the Qur’an) to you explaining clearly everything, and as guidance and mercy and good news for the Muslims34.
34. Those who have submitted themselves to God.
التفاسير العربية:
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ وَإِيتَآيِٕ ذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡيِۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
90. Allah (God) commands (people) to maintain justice, kindness, and good relations with the relatives35 (and neighbors), and He forbids indecency, sin, and oppression; He admonishes you that you may take heed.
35. Degrees of kinship: parents, then offspring, then brothers and sisters, then paternal uncles and aunts, then maternal uncles and aunts, and then other relatives.
التفاسير العربية:
وَأَوۡفُواْ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا عَٰهَدتُّمۡ وَلَا تَنقُضُواْ ٱلۡأَيۡمَٰنَ بَعۡدَ تَوۡكِيدِهَا وَقَدۡ جَعَلۡتُمُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَفِيلًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
91. Fulfill the Covenant of Allah when you have taken it, and do not break the oaths after making them binding, while you have made Allah a surety (i.e., witness) over you. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.
التفاسير العربية:
وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّتِي نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَهَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنكَٰثٗا تَتَّخِذُونَ أَيۡمَٰنَكُمۡ دَخَلَۢا بَيۡنَكُمۡ أَن تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِيَ أَرۡبَىٰ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍۚ إِنَّمَا يَبۡلُوكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۚ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
92. Be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun, after it has become strong, using your oaths to be means of deceit between you, simply because some of you may be more powerful than others. Allah only tries you by this; and He will certainly make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection (and judgement) that about which you differed.
التفاسير العربية:
وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ وَلَٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
93. If Allah willed, He could have made you all of one religion36, but He (justly) leaves whom He wills astray, and guides (out of His Favor) whom He wills. And you will certainly be questioned as to what you used to do.
36. Allah, through His Boundless Power and Infinite Wisdom, could have made all people believers, but then how would their Faith be tested and they be held accountable for their deeds.
التفاسير العربية:
وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَكُمۡ دَخَلَۢا بَيۡنَكُمۡ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمُۢ بَعۡدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُواْ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمۡ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ
94. Do not make your oaths a means of deceit between yourselves, lest a foot slip after its stability, and you taste evil because you turned away from God’s Way (Islam), and yours is a tremendous torment.
التفاسير العربية:
مَا عِندَكُمۡ يَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقٖۗ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوٓاْ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
96. Whatever you possess is transient, but what is with Allah is ever-lasting. We shall certainly give to those who are patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do (of goodness).
التفاسير العربية:
مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٗ طَيِّبَةٗۖ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
97. Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, and is a believer, We shall cause them to live a good life, and We shall give them their reward according to the best of what they used to do.
التفاسير العربية:
فَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ

إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ سُلۡطَٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

وَإِذَا بَدَّلۡنَآ ءَايَةٗ مَّكَانَ ءَايَةٖ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُفۡتَرِۭۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
101. When We change a Verse in place of (another), and Allah knows best what He sends down, they say: "You are only an inventor (of falsehood)." But, most of them do not know.
التفاسير العربية:
قُلۡ نَزَّلَهُۥ رُوحُ ٱلۡقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَهُدٗى وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
102. Say: "The holy spirit (Gabriel) has brought it from your Lord (Allah) in truth, that it may strengthen those who believe, and as a guidance and good news for those who submit themselves to (God)."
التفاسير العربية:
وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّهُمۡ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُۥ بَشَرٞۗ لِّسَانُ ٱلَّذِي يُلۡحِدُونَ إِلَيۡهِ أَعۡجَمِيّٞ وَهَٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيّٞ مُّبِينٌ
103. We know that they say: "Only a mortal man teaches him." The tongue of him whom they refer to is foreign, and this (Qur’an) is (in) a clear Arabic tongue.
التفاسير العربية:
مَن كَفَرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ إِيمَٰنِهِۦٓ إِلَّا مَنۡ أُكۡرِهَ وَقَلۡبُهُۥ مُطۡمَئِنُّۢ بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ وَلَٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ صَدۡرٗا فَعَلَيۡهِمۡ غَضَبٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ
106. He who denies Allah after having believed; not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest with faith, but he who opens (his) chest to denial - on these is the Wrath of Allah, they will have a grievous torment.
التفاسير العربية:
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ
108. These are the ones on whose hearts, hearing, and vision, Allah has set a seal37, and these are the heedless ones.
37. Because they did not use their faculties of perception to seek guidance.
التفاسير العربية:
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
التفاسير العربية:
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا فُتِنُواْ ثُمَّ جَٰهَدُواْ وَصَبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
110. Yet (Allah) your Lord (grants His forgiveness) to those who emigrated after they had been put to trial, and thereafter strove hard (for the Cause of Allah), and were patient; your Lord (Allah) after that is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
التفاسير العربية:
۞ يَوۡمَ تَأۡتِي كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ تُجَٰدِلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ
111. Remember the Day when every soul will come, pleading for itself, and every soul will be paid in full what it has done, and they will not be dealt with unjustly.
التفاسير العربية:
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا قَرۡيَةٗ كَانَتۡ ءَامِنَةٗ مُّطۡمَئِنَّةٗ يَأۡتِيهَا رِزۡقُهَا رَغَدٗا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ فَكَفَرَتۡ بِأَنۡعُمِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَذَٰقَهَا ٱللَّهُ لِبَاسَ ٱلۡجُوعِ وَٱلۡخَوۡفِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡنَعُونَ
112. Allah sets forth an example: Consider a town safe and secure to which its means of sustenance comes in abundance from every place; but it became ungrateful for Allah’s favors, so Allah made it to taste the utmost degree of hunger and fear because of what they used to do (of sin)38.
38. This is a direct warning to the people - they are being warned against Divine Retribution in this worldly life as much as they have just been warned against the one in the Hereafter.
التفاسير العربية:
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَيۡتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحۡمَ ٱلۡخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۖ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ غَيۡرَ بَاغٖ وَلَا عَادٖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
115. He has only forbidden you carrion, blood40, pork and that which is not consecrated with the Name of Allah. But whoever is driven (to consume such meats) by necessity, not desiring nor exceeding the limits, then Allah is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
40. I.e., flowing blood, not what remains in blood vessels after the slaughter.
التفاسير العربية:
وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٞ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٞ لِّتَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ لَا يُفۡلِحُونَ
116. Do not say what your tongues describe falsely (saying): "This is lawful and this is unlawful, in order to invent a lie against Allah." Those who forge lies against Allah will not prosper.
التفاسير العربية:
مَتَٰعٞ قَلِيلٞ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
التفاسير العربية:
وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمۡنَا مَا قَصَصۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
118. As for those of Jewish faith, We prohibited that which We have already related to you41. We did them no injustice, but they were unjust to themselves.
41. See chapter 6 verse 146.
التفاسير العربية:
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَٰلَةٖ ثُمَّ تَابُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ
119. Yet (Allah) your Lord (shows Mercy) to those who commit sin out of ignorance, then after that repent and live righteously; your Lord (Allah) after that is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
التفاسير العربية:
إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبۡتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
124. The Sabbath was ordained only for those (Jews) who differed about (its observance), and your Lord (Allah) will certainly judge between them on the Day of Judgement, that about which they differed.
التفاسير العربية:
ٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَٱلۡمَوۡعِظَةِ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِۖ وَجَٰدِلۡهُم بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ
125. Call to the Way of your Lord (Allah) with wisdom and good preaching, and argue with them in the best manner. Your Lord (Allah) best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way (of Islam).
التفاسير العربية:
وَإِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُواْ بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوقِبۡتُم بِهِۦۖ وَلَئِن صَبَرۡتُمۡ لَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لِّلصَّٰبِرِينَ
126. If you retaliate, then retaliate with the like of that with which you were afflicted; but if you patiently endure, it is certainly better for those who are patient42.
42. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, quarrel and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as Allah forgive your sins.
التفاسير العربية:
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُم مُّحۡسِنُونَ
43. And who excel in their worship of their sole Creator, Allah.
