طسٓۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَكِتَابٖ مُّبِينٍ

1. Ta Seen [1]. These are the Verses of the Qur’an and a clear Book [2]. info

[1]. See footnote to Qur’an chapter2: Verse1.
[2]. Both the Book and the verses of the Qur’an mentioned here refer to one and the same thing, the Qur’an itself; the Book that was to be and then present recited Verses. Its double mention, as given here, is meant to draw special attention to the evidences it provides to the Truthfulness of the Message.

هُدٗى وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

2. A guidance and good news for the believers, info

3 : 27

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ

3. Who keep up the prayer and pay the poor-rate, and are certain of the Hereafter. info

4 : 27

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

4. Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made fair-seeming to them their deeds, so they wander about blindly. info

5 : 27

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلۡأَخۡسَرُونَ

5. These are they for whom is the worst kind of torment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. info

6 : 27

وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مِن لَّدُنۡ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ

6. And you (Muhammad) are surely receiving the Qur’an from (Allāh) the All-Wise, All-Knowing. info

7 : 27

إِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهۡلِهِۦٓ إِنِّيٓ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارٗا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنۡهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوۡ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٖ قَبَسٖ لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَصۡطَلُونَ

7. (Mention) when Moses said to his family [3], I have spotted a fire; I will bring you from it some news, or I will bring you therefrom a burning torch that you may warm yourselves". info

[3]. I.e., his wife, during his journey from Midian back to Egypt.

8 : 27

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِيَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِي ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَا وَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

8. But When he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is who is at the fire, and whoever is around it; and Glory be to Allāh, the Lord of the worlds. info

9 : 27

يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

9. O Moses, indeed it is Me - Allāh; the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. info

10 : 27

وَأَلۡقِ عَصَاكَۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهۡتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنّٞ وَلَّىٰ مُدۡبِرٗا وَلَمۡ يُعَقِّبۡۚ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفۡ إِنِّي لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

10. And, cast down your staff." But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned back in retreat, and did not return. (Allāh said), "Moses, fear not! Indeed, as for Me; the messengers should have no fear in My Presence." info

11 : 27

إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسۡنَۢا بَعۡدَ سُوٓءٖ فَإِنِّي غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

11. Except, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil (by sincere repentance) - Indeed, I am Forgiving, Merciful: info

12 : 27

وَأَدۡخِلۡ يَدَكَ فِي جَيۡبِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَيۡضَآءَ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ سُوٓءٖۖ فِي تِسۡعِ ءَايَٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَقَوۡمِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ

12. And put your hand into your bosom (of your robe) , it will come out (shining) white unblemished. (These are two) among nine signs to Pharaoh and his people. They are certainly a people defiantly disobedient.  info

13 : 27

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبۡصِرَةٗ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

13. So when Our visible signs came to them, they said: "This is clear magic." info
