حَقِيقٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن لَّآ أَقُولَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَقَّۚ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِبَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَأَرۡسِلۡ مَعِيَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
105. It is a right upon me that I say nothing except the Truth about Allāh. Indeed, I have come to you with clear Proof from your Lord, so send with me the children of Israel."

قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئۡتَ بِـَٔايَةٖ فَأۡتِ بِهَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
106. (Pharaoh) said: "If you have come with a Sign, then bring it if you are of the truthful."
التفاسير:
107
:
7
فَأَلۡقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعۡبَانٞ مُّبِينٞ
107. So he (Moses) threw his rod, then (at once) it was a clear serpent (for all to see).
التفاسير:
108
:
7
وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
108. And he drew out his hand, and (at once) it was white (with radiance) for the beholders.

109
:
7
قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٞ
109. The eminent ones among Pharaoh’s people said: "This is indeed a knowledgeable sorcerer,

:

يُرِيدُ أَن يُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُمۡۖ فَمَاذَا تَأۡمُرُونَ
110. He wants to expel you from your land (through his sorcery). So What do you instruct?'

قَالُوٓاْ أَرۡجِهۡ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرۡسِلۡ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ
111. They said: "Postpone (the matter of) him (Moses) and his brother (Aaron), and send into the cities gatherers,

:

يَأۡتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٖ
112. Who will bring you every learned magician."
التفاسير:
113
:
7
وَجَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
113. And the magicians came to Pharaoh (and) said: "Indeed, there is certainly a reward for us, if we are the prevailing ones."

قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ
114. (Pharaoh) said: "Yes, and you will certainly be of those who are close 'to me'.

:

قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلۡقِيَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُلۡقِينَ
115. They said: "O Moses, either you cast, or we ourselves will be the ones casting (first)."

قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ
116. (Moses) said: "Cast." So when they cast, they bewitched the people’s eyes and frightened them, and they produced great magic.

:
7
۞ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَلۡقِ عَصَاكَۖ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ
117. We inspired to Moses, saying: "Cast your rod," and at once it swallowed what they falsified.

:

فَوَقَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
118. So the truth was established, and proved vain what they used to do.
التفاسير:

:
7
فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَٱنقَلَبُواْ صَٰغِرِينَ
119. So they (Pharaoh and his people) were defeated over there, and returned utterly humiliated.

:
7
وَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ
120. And the magicians fell down, prostrating (to Allāh).
