[1]. That is the seminal fluid of the man and the ovarian fluid of the woman that have mixed.
[2]. With the moral obligations of Islam.
[3]. In every thing praise Allāh and give thanks: for this is the will of Allāh.
[4]. Ingratitude is a sin with severe repercussions. The Qur’an gives a detailed description of the downfall of a person or a society. Listed alongside idolatry, murder, adultery, homosexuality, theft, cheating and every kind of rebellion is unthankfulness. Although they knew Allāh, the Creator, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him. This tells us that Allāh takes gratefulness—and ungratefulness—seriously. As long as a person or a society remains thankful to God, they retain a sensitivity to His presence. Thankfulness toward Allāh requires a belief in Him and His messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, and ingratitude fails to fulfill our responsibility to acknowledge them. When we refuse to be thankful or to express gratitude, we grow hard-hearted and proud. We take for granted all that Allāh has given us and become deniers for His graces.
[5]. When you make a vow to Allāh, do not delay fulfilling it. Fulfill what you vow. Better that you do not vow than that you vow and not fulfill it.
[6]. Muhammad, God's messenger said, "O people, spread peace 'and love to one another', give food to the poor, uphold the ties of kinship, pray during the night while people 'normally' sleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace."
So take your inheritance, the paradise prepared for you since the creation of the world. For you fed the hungry, gave drink to the thirsty, invited to come in the stranger, clothed the needy, looked after the sick, and visited the prisoned giving him his needs both spiritual and physical.
[7]. Help the poor, the orphan and the prisoned as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you. Treat each other well and fairly, especially those in need. Out of love for Allāh, help those who fall on hard times and are not able to take care of themselves. Treat them just as you would treat a foreigner and stranger with hospitality and love. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other and feeding the poor.
[9]. Warn them that are undisciplined, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
[12]. I.e., neglect the remembrance of the Judgment Day that awaits them, not working towards it and for their salvation.
