Prijevod značenja Sura: Sura Ibrahim   Ajet:

Ibrāhīm

1. Alif Laam Ra¹. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you 'Muhammad' that you may bring forth the people from the utter darknesses into the light², by their Lord’s Permission, to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy.
1. The Qur’an is made up of such letters from the Arabic alphabet. The Arabs at the time of revelation were the unmatched masters of the Arabic language and yet when challenged were totally unable to bring anything like the Qur’an. Although these disjointed Arabic letters are referring to the inimitable nature of the Qur’an and its divine source, God knows best its meaning.
2. If we claim to have faith in Allāh and His last and final messenger Muhammad and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, have fellowship with one another, love one another as believers of Allāh, help one another, keep to Allah’s Commandments and shun evil, Allāh (God) will purify us from all sin. Mohammad, the messenger of God (ﷺ) said: "Purification is half of the faith, saying al-Hamdu Lillāh (all praise and gratitude is for Allāh alone) fills the scale, Subhanallāh (Glory be to Allāh) and al-Hamdu Lillāh fill up what is between the heavens and the earth. The prayer is a light, giving charity is proof of one's faith, patience and endurance is a brightness. The Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free from Hell by following righteousness or destroying themselves by committing sins which will lead to Hell."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
2. Allāh, to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Woe to the deniers from a severe torment.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
3. Those who prefer this worldly life over the Hereafter life and turn away (people) from Allah's way (of Islam), and seek to make it seem crooked. These are in a extreme error.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
4. We did not send any Messenger but with the language of his own people, so that he may explain (the message) to them clearly. Then Allāh leaves (justly) astray whom He wills, and He guides (out of His Favor) whom He wills - for He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
5. We sent Moses with Our Signs, saying: "Bring forth your people from utter darknesses into light³, and remind them of the Days of Allāh." In this there are certainly signs for every patient, grateful one.
3. Light has always been a symbol of goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope, and Allah's Revelation. By contrast, darkness has been associated with evil, sin, and despair.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
6. 'Consider' when Moses said to his people: "Remember Allah’s Favor upon you, when He delivered you from Pharaoh’s people who subjected you to dreadful torment - slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. That was a severe trial from 'Allāh' your Lord."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
7. 'Mention' also when your Lord 'Allāh' proclaimed: "If you give thanks4, I will certainly give you more (favors), but if you are ungrateful, then My chastisement is certainly severe."
4. Thanksgiving to God, its reality in servitude is the manifestation of the effect of God’s grace on the tongue of His servant: by praise and acknowledgment, on his heart: by presence and love, and on his limbs: by submissiveness and obedience. Gratitude is based on five rules: the person’s submission to God, his love for Him, his acknowledgment of His blessings, his praise of it, and not using God's grace for anything He hates like committing sins. These five are the basis of gratitude and its foundation upon it. If one of them is not present, one of the principles of gratitude is broken.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
8. Moses said: "If you deny (the Truth of Islam), you and those on earth all together, then (know that) Allāh is Rich (free of all needs), Praiseworthy.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
9. Have there not come to you the news of those before you, the people of Noah, ‘Aad, Thamud, and those after them? None knows them (now) but Allāh. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they put their hands into their mouths and said: "We don't believe that with which you are sent, and we are so doubtful and uncertain as to that to which you call us to."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
10. Their messengers said: "Is there any doubt about Allāh, Originator of the heavens and the earth? He calls you so that He may forgive you of your sins and give you respite till an appointed term." They said: "You are but humans like us. You want to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship. Bring us then some clear authority (of what you say)."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
11. Their messengers said to them: "We are only humans like you, but Allāh bestows (His) favor (Prophethood) on whomsoever He wills of His servants. We cannot not bring you authority except by Allah’s Permission. On Allāh (alone) should the believers rely."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
12. Why should we not rely on Allāh when He has indeed guided us to the (right) ways (of peace) we follow? We would bear with patience your persecution of us. On Allāh alone should the reliant rely5.
5. By faith we place our confidence and assurance in Allāh only. It makes us pray more and seek Allah’s direction and guidance. We can also rely on knowing what has happened in the past as others have walked by faith.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
13. Those who denied (the Truth) said to their messengers: "We will expel you out from our land, or else you shall come back to our faith (and way of life)6." So their Lord 'Allāh' revealed to them: "We shall certainly destroy the unjust.
6. Satan is the source of persecution, not Allāh. And he will cause believers to be tossed into jail, expelled and, possibly, killed. However, believers need not be feared about death because it will only bring them the crown of life. Satan might hurt their natural bodies; however, he cannot cause them spiritual damage. Despite the intensity of the persecution, it will be brief. Allāh retains complete control, and there is a clear beginning and end.
Therefore don’t be afraid of those who threaten you. For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Don't be afraid of those who want to kill you because of the Truth you preach; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only Allāh, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. And rest assured that the good outcome is for the righteous who endures the persecution. If we are being persecuted for righteousness sake, and we take it patiently, then we get high marks from Allāh —because that is exactly what He wants us to do. That is righteousness. What the enemies of God can do to us? Our paradise and garden are in our hearts wherever we go. They are with us and never leave us. If we are imprisoned, it is seclusion for worship to Allāh. If we are killed, it is martyrdom. If they expel us from our land, it is exploring the world.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
14. And settle you in the land after them. This is for him who fears standing in My Presence (for Account) and who fears My Threat."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
15. They (the messengers) prayed for victory (from Allāh) and (thus) every obstinate tyrant was let down.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
16. In front of him is Gehinnom (Hell), and he will be given to drink purulent water;
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
17. He sips with difficult, but can hardly swallow it, death will approach him from every side, yet he will not die. And ahead of him, there will be a hard torment.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
18. The deeds of those who deny their Lord 'Allāh' are like ashes that are blown away by the wind on a stormy day. They will achieve nothing of what they have earned. That is the utmost straying, far away (from the right Path).
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
19. Do you not consider that Allāh has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose? If He wills, He can do away with you and bring about a new creation,
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
20. This is not difficult for Allāh7.
7. To replace you with another creature if he so wills.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
21. They will all come forth (for Judgment) before Allāh, then the weak will say to those who were arrogant: "We were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the torment of Allāh?" They will say: "If Allāh had guided us, we too would have guided you; it is all the same for us whether we are impatient (now) or patient, there is for us no place of escape."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
22. When the Decree of Allāh is issued, Satan will say: "Allāh promised you a Promise of Truth, and I promised you, but I failed (betrayed) you. I had no authority over you, except that I called you and you obeyed me, so do not blame me but blame yourselves. I shall not answer your shouts (for help) nor can you answer me. I hereby deny your associating me with Allāh before. The workers of iniquity will surely have a painful torment.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
23. But those who believed and did righteous deeds are made to enter Gardens, under which rivers flow to abide therein forever by their Lord’s Permission. Their greeting therein is Salaam "Peace".
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
24. Have you not considered how Allāh sets as example a good Word8 (being) like a good tree9, whose root is firm, and whose branches are towards the sky,
8. Allah’s Word is our source of gladness in the face of anxiety. Allāh has given his good Word to us. So live in God's Word. Meditate on his Word day and night, on his promises, on truths about who He is, on how He is sovereign and in control. A bad word weighs a person down, but a good and  encouraging word cheers a person up and makes him/her glad. This verse also speaks about the healing or hurting power of words and the importance of carefully choosing and applying our words.
9. Every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
25. Yielding its fruit in every season by the Permission of its Lord. Allāh sets forth examples for people that they may take heed.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
26. The example of a bad word is like a bad tree10, uprooted from the earth’s surface; having no stability.
10. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is up rooted from the earth’s surface, and cast into the fire. For that reason by their fruits you shall know them. Likewise men by their words and deeds you shall know them.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
27. Allāh keeps firm those who believe with the Word (of piety - the testimony of faith)11 that stands firm in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. Allāh (justly) leaves astray the unjust. Allāh does what He wills.
11. The testimony that there is no deity except Allāh and that Muḥammad (ﷺ) is the messenger of Allāh 'God'.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
28. Have you not seen those 'deniers' who meet the grace of Allāh with ingratitude and make their people settle in the abode of utter destruction?
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
29. In Gehinnom (Hell), they will burn. What an evil place it is to settle.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
30. They set up equals to Allāh that they may lead 'people' astray from His way. Say: "Enjoy yourselves 'for a while', for indeed, your destination is the Hellfire."
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
31. Say to My servants who believe that they should keep up the prayer and spend (in charity) out of what We have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of the Day in which there will be no bargaining nor mutual befriending.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
32. It is Allāh Who created the heavens and the earth and sends down water from the sky, then brings forth with it fruits as sustenance for you. He has subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His Command and subjected for you the rivers.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
33. He subjected for you the sun and the moon, pursuing their courses, and subjected for you the night and the day.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
34. He gives you of all that you ask from Him12. Had you wanted to count Allah’s Favors, you will not be able to number them. Man (i.e., the denier) is gravely unjust, totally ungrateful.
12. Something of what you asked and all of what you require, according to His wisdom.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
35. (Consider) when Abraham prayed: " Lord 'Allāh', make this town (Makkah) secure, and keep me away and my sons from the worship of idols.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
36. Lord, 'the idols' have misled many people. Whoever follows me, then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me, then indeed You are All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
37. Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring (Ishmael and his descendants) in a barren valley near Your Sacred House (at Makkah), our Lord, that they may keep up the prayer; make hearts among the people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits, so that they may be grateful.
Tefsiri na arapskom jeziku:
