Sura el-A'la

Ayah: 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
Hvali ime Gospodara svoga Svevišnjeg,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
koji sve stvara i čini skladnim,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
i koji sve s mjerom određuje i nadahnjuje,

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
i koji čini da rastu pašnjaci,

Ayah: 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ
i potom čini da postanu suhi, potamnjeli.

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
Mi ćemo te naučiti da izgovaraš pa ništa nećeš zaboraviti

Ayah: 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ
osim onoga što će Allah htjeti – jer, On zna i ono što na javu iznosite i ono što tajite –

Ayah: 8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
i sve što je dobro Mi ćemo tebi dostupnim učiniti;

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
zato poučavaj – pouka će već od koristi biti:

Ayah: 10

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ
dozvaće se onaj koji se Allaha boji,

Ayah: 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
a izbjegavaće je onaj najgori,

Ayah: 12

ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
koji će u vatri velikoj gorjeti,

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ
pa u njoj neće ni umrijeti ni živjeti.

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Postići će šta želi onaj koji se očisti

Ayah: 15

وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
i spomene ime Gospodara svoga pa molitvu obavi!

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
Ali, vi više život na ovom svijetu volite,

Ayah: 17

وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
a onaj svijet je bolji i vječan je.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
Ovo, doista, ima u listovima davnašnjim,

صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
listovima Ibrahimovim i Musaovim.
