Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Layl   Ayah:

Sura el-Lejl

Ayah: 1

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ
Tako mi noći kada tmine razastre,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
i dana kad svane,

Ayah: 3

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
i Onoga koji muško i žensko stvara –

Ayah: 4

إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ
vaš trud je, zaista, različit:

Ayah: 5

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
onome koji udjeljuje i ne griješi

Ayah: 6

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
i ono najljepše smatra istinitim –

Ayah: 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
njega ćemo za Džennet pripremiti; @Corrected
njemu ćemo Džennet pripremiti;

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
a onome koji tvrdiči i osjeća se neovisnim

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
i ono najljepše smatra lažnim –

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ
njega ćemo za Džehennem pripremiti, @Corrected
njemu ćemo Džehennem pripremiti,

Ayah: 11

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
i bogatstvo njegovo mu, kad se strovali, neće koristiti.

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ
Mi smo dužni ukazati na Pravi put,

Ayah: 13

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ
i jedino Nama pripada i onaj i ovaj svijet!

فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارٗا تَلَظَّىٰ
Zato vas opominjem razbuktalom vatrom,

لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
u koju će ući samo nesretnik,

Ayah: 16

ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
onaj koji bude poricao i glavu okretao,

Ayah: 17

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى
a od nje će daleko biti onaj koji se bude Allaha bojao,

ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
onaj koji bude dio imetka svoga udjeljivao, da bi se očistio,

Ayah: 19

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ
ne očekujući da mu se zahvalnošću uzvrati,

Ayah: 20

إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
već jedino da bi naklonost Gospodara svoga Svevišnjeg stekao,

Ayah: 21

وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ
i on će, zbilja, zadovoljan biti!
