Soerat Al-Qadr (De Waardevolle Nacht)

Ayah: 1

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
1. Waarlijk! Wij hebben de Koran in de nacht van de beschikking neergezonden.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
2. En wat doet jou weten wat de nacht van de beschikking is?

لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
3. De nacht van de beschikking is beter dan duizend maanden.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
4. Daarin dalen met Allahs toestemming de engelen neer en Jibriël met alle beschikkingen.

سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
5. Vrede! Zij over deze nacht tot het verschijnen van de dageraad!
