Ar-Ra‘d

1 : 13

الٓمٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِۗ وَٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

1. Alif Laam Meem Ra ^[1]. These are the Verses of the Book (Qur’an) and that which has been sent down to you (Muhammad) from your Lord is the Truth, but most people do not believe.

2 : 13

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيۡرِ عَمَدٖ تَرَوۡنَهَاۖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمۡ تُوقِنُونَ

2. Allāh is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then He rose over the Throne; and subjected the sun and the moon - each one pursuing its course to an appointed time. He regulates the affairs (of all that exists) making clear the signs, that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.

3 : 13

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي مَدَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۡهَٰرٗاۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۖ يُغۡشِي ٱلَّيۡلَ ٱلنَّهَارَۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

3. It is He (Allāh) Who extended the earth and placed therein firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits He made therein two pair. He makes the night cover the day. There are certainly signs in this for a people who reflect (and realize the Truth) ^[2].

[2]. To worship Allāh alone not associating any partners with Him in their worship.

4 : 13

وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ قِطَعٞ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٞ وَجَنَّٰتٞ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَٰبٖ وَزَرۡعٞ وَنَخِيلٞ صِنۡوَانٞ وَغَيۡرُ صِنۡوَانٖ يُسۡقَىٰ بِمَآءٖ وَٰحِدٖ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعۡضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فِي ٱلۡأُكُلِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

4. On the earth there are adjacent pieces of lands, vineyards, (various) crops, date-palms some having one root and (others) having distinct roots--they are watered with one water. But We make some of them excel others in eating (food value). There are certainly signs in this for a people who reason (to worship Allāh alone).

5 : 13

۞ وَإِن تَعۡجَبۡ فَعَجَبٞ قَوۡلُهُمۡ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍۗ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلُ فِيٓ أَعۡنَاقِهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

5. If you would wonder ^[3], then wondrous, too, is their saying: "When we are dust, shall we then certainly be (raised) into a new creation?" These are they who have disbelieved in their Lord (Allāh), and these are they who will have the shackles on their necks. And these are the occupants of the Hellfire - they will abide therein forever.

[3]. At these pagans who deny your message of Islamic Monotheism and have taken besides Allāh idols who can neither harm nor benefit.

6 : 13

وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡمَثُلَٰتُۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةٖ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلۡمِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

6. They ask you (Muhammad) to hasten the evil before the good, while there has already passed away even before them exemplary punishments (which they now make jest of). Indeed, your Lord (Allāh) is Full of Forgiveness for the people - despite their evildoing; and indeed your Lord is surely Severe in punishment.

7 : 13

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۗ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٞۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوۡمٍ هَادٍ

7. Those who disbelieve 'in the Truth' say: "Why has not a miracle been sent down upon him from his Lord?" You (Muhammad) are only a warner; and for every people is a guide.

8 : 13

ٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَحۡمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلۡأَرۡحَامُ وَمَا تَزۡدَادُۚ وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقۡدَارٍ

8. Allāh knows what every female bears, and that of which the wombs fall short of completion and that in which they increase. Everything with Him has a due measure.

9 : 13

عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ ٱلۡمُتَعَالِ

9. (He is) the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Most Great, the Most High.

10 : 13

سَوَآءٞ مِّنكُم مَّنۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡتَخۡفِۭ بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَارِبُۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ

10. It is all the same (to Him) whether any of you keeps secret the speech or speak openly, and whether one is hidden by night or conspicuous by day-time.

11 : 13

لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٞ مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ يَحۡفَظُونَهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمٖ سُوٓءٗا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ

11. For each one there are successive (angels) before and behind him who guard and protect him by Allah’s Command ^[4]. Indeed, Allāh does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. When Allāh intends harm for a people, there is no averting it, and besides Him they have no protector.

[4]. These are the angels tasked with each human being; they alternate and take day and night shifts. There are four in each shift: one from the front and another from the back, protecting him from evil, and one from the right keeping record of his good deeds, and another on the left side recording his misdeeds.

12 : 13

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ

12. It It is He (Allāh) Who shows you lightning causing fear and hope ^[5] and 'Who' brings up the clouds, heavy 'with rain'.

[5]. 'Fear' of being hit by thunderbolt and 'hope' for getting rain.

13 : 13

وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنۡ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمۡ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِي ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡمِحَالِ

13. The thunder exalts (Allāh) with Praise (of Him), as do the angels out of awe (and reverence) of Him. He sends thunderbolts and smites with it whom He wills, yet they dispute about Allāh, and He is severe in assault.

14 : 13

لَهُۥ دَعۡوَةُ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسۡتَجِيبُونَ لَهُم بِشَيۡءٍ إِلَّا كَبَٰسِطِ كَفَّيۡهِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَآءِ لِيَبۡلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَٰلِغِهِۦۚ وَمَا دُعَآءُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ

14. To Him 'Allāh alone' is the call of Truth. But those to whom they call upon instead of Allāh do not answer them in any way, except like one who stretches forth his two hands towards water (from afar, calling at it) that it may reach his mouth, but it will not reach it ^[6]. For the prayer of the deniers is only in error.

[6]. This comparison indicates that the false deities will never respond to them at all.

15 : 13

وَلِلَّهِۤ يَسۡجُدُۤ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ طَوۡعٗا وَكَرۡهٗا وَظِلَٰلُهُم بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡأٓصَالِ۩

15. To Allāh prostrates 'and submits' whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows (as well), in the mornings and evenings.

16 : 13

قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَٱتَّخَذۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ نَفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗاۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ أَمۡ هَلۡ تَسۡتَوِي ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُۗ أَمۡ جَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُواْ كَخَلۡقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّٰرُ

16. Say: "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "Allāh." Say: "Why then have you taken besides Him protectors 'and lords' who possesses no power even to benefit or harm themselves?" Say, "Are the blind and the seeing alike? Or can the darkness and the light be equal?" Or, do they assign to Allāh partners who have created a creation like His, so that the creation seemed alike to them? Say: "Allāh 'alone' is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the All-Conquering ^[7]."

[7]. Muhammad, God's Messenger said: 'It is a right upon Allāh that nothing is raised in this world except He lowers it.'
Every high thing must come down. Every stronghold of disbelievers shall be broken. Allāh 'God' is the only One true God and has no second. He is  the Victorious, the All-Conquering.
He is always fighting for us. Heaven's angels all around. Our delight is found in knowing that He is the Victorious.
He is our helper and defender. He is our protector and Savior. By His grace we live and breathe to worship Him alone. Allāh is the greatest. In His Name alone we will pray and bow down. O Allāh, we invoke you for help, and beg for your forgiveness, we believe in you and have trust in you, we praise you, in the best way we can; we thank you and we are not ungrateful to you, we forsake and turn away from the one who disobeys you. O Allāh, we worship and prostrate ourselves before you, we hasten towards you and serve you, we hope to receive your mercy and we dread your torment. Surely, the disbelievers shall incur your torment.
Let Allāh’s glory fill the universe. Let His power overflow. He sent us his messenger, Muhammad, after Jesus, and revealed to him the Qur’an, which is the fullness of God's divine revelation and so there will be no more prophets giving public revelation after the Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad said: I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary, and all the prophets are paternal brothers, and there has been no prophet between me and him (i.e. Jesus). He also said: "There will be no prophet after me, but there will be rulers who will increase in number." The people asked, "O God's Messenger (ﷺ), what do you order us (to do)?" He said, "Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfil their (i.e. the rulers) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship."

17 : 13

أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَسَالَتۡ أَوۡدِيَةُۢ بِقَدَرِهَا فَٱحۡتَمَلَ ٱلسَّيۡلُ زَبَدٗا رَّابِيٗاۖ وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلنَّارِ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ حِلۡيَةٍ أَوۡ مَتَٰعٖ زَبَدٞ مِّثۡلُهُۥۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَٱلۡبَٰطِلَۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلزَّبَدُ فَيَذۡهَبُ جُفَآءٗۖ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ فَيَمۡكُثُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ

17. He (Allāh) sends down water from the sky, then watercourses flow according to their capacity, and the flood bears (on its surface) swelling foam, and from what they melt in the fire for making ornaments or utensils a foam like it. Thus does Allāh compare Truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it fades away as dirt (upon the banks); but as for what benefits the people, it remains in the earth. Thus does Allāh set forth examples (for the people) ^[8].

[8]. The Prophet Muhammad said, "The example of the guidance and knowledge with which Allāh has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allāh benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion, Islam, and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allāh has revealed through me (and learns and then teaches others). The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take God's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)".

18 : 13

لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَهُۥ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦٓۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ

18. For those who respond to their Lord (Allāh) ^[9] is the most excellent (reward); and (as for) those who do not respond to Him ^[10], had they all that is in the earth and the like thereof with it they would certainly offer it to ransom (themselves from the torment of the Day of Resurrection). As for these, an evil Reckoning will be theirs and their home is Hell. Wretched is that resting-place.

[9]. I.e., believe in the Oneness of God and obey Him and His Messenger Muhammad.
[10]. I.e., deny the Oneness of God and disobey Him and His Messenger.

19 : 13

۞ أَفَمَن يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ كَمَنۡ هُوَ أَعۡمَىٰٓۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

19. So, is he who knows that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the Truth, like him who is blind? Only those who possess understanding will pay heed.

20 : 13

ٱلَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَنقُضُونَ ٱلۡمِيثَٰقَ

20. 'They are' those who fulfill the covenant of Allāh and do not break the pledge,

21 : 13

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

21. And those who join that what Allāh has commanded to be joined (of the ties of kinship)11, and stand in awe (and reverence) before their Lord 'Allāh' and fear an evil Reckoning.

11. The Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him said: "The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates. The one who maintains ties of kinship is the one who, when his relatives cut him off, maintains ties of kinship."

22 : 13

وَٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ وَيَدۡرَءُونَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ

22. And those who are patient, seeking the Face of their Lord (Allāh), keep up the prayer and spend (in charity) out of what We have given them secretly and openly, and who repel evil with good ^[12]- these will have the good consequence of 'this' home.

[12]. This verse emphasizes not returning evil for evil, even when wronged, choosing instead to act with kindness and compassion. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, responding to negativity or harmful actions with positive and kind deeds, promoting goodness.
By consistently exhibiting good behavior, one can have a positive impact on others and potentially change their hearts.
The prophet Muhammad is the ultimate example of overcoming evil with good through his teachings and actions despite facing persecution.

23 : 13

جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡۖ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَدۡخُلُونَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابٖ

23. Gardens of Eden which they will enter along with those who live righteously from among their parents, their spouses and their offspring. The angels will enter upon them from every gate,

24 : 13

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِمَا صَبَرۡتُمۡۚ فَنِعۡمَ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ

24. "Peace be upon you, for what you patiently endured. Excellent is then the good consequence of 'the final' abode."

25 : 13

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ

25. But those who break the Covenant of Allāh after its confirmation, and cut (off) what Allah has commanded to be joined, and spread corruption in the land - for them is the Curse, and they will have the worst abode (in Hell).

26 : 13

ٱللَّهُ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ وَفَرِحُواْ بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَٰعٞ

26. Allāh extends the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whom He wills). They (the unbelievers) rejoice in this worldly life, and this worldly life compared with the life of the Hereafter is only a 'passing' enjoyment.

27 : 13

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ مَنۡ أَنَابَ

27. Those who disbelieve 'in the truth' say: "Why is not a 'physical' sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Indeed, Allāh leaves to stray whoever He wills, and guides to Him whoever turns to Him 'in repentance'."

28 : 13

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ

28. Those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the Remembrance of Allāh. Undoubtedly, in the Remembrance of Allāh do hearts find comfort ^[13].

[13]. Believers in Allāh and His messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, have a retreat where they find rest in the midst of our turbulent world, saying “You [Allāh] are our hiding place. Allāh and his mosques is our true place of safety.
Allāh welcomes us to find rest and restoration in Him. He says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. You who find comfort in My Remembrance.
Allāh and His houses of worship wherein we pray and praise him with recitation of the Qur'an is our place of rest any time, every time, and all the time.

29 : 13

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَحُسۡنُ مَـَٔابٖ

29. Those who believe and do righteous deeds, blessedness is for them and a beautiful place of return.

30 : 13

كَذَٰلِكَ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ فِيٓ أُمَّةٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهَآ أُمَمٞ لِّتَتۡلُوَاْ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ وَهُمۡ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ قُلۡ هُوَ رَبِّي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَيۡهِ مَتَابِ

30. Thus We have sent you (Muhammad) among a nation, before which other nations have passed on, that you might recite to them what We have revealed to you (of the Qur’an), while they disbelieve in the Most Compassionate ^[14]. Say: "He is my Lord, there is no god (worthy of worship) except Him; on Him do I rely, and to Him is my return."

[14]. Submitting to the will of Allāh and to take decisive steps in following God's last and final messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, through right faith and good deeds and through service in favor of those most in need in the society, you will be able to enjoy a good meaningful life that will make your charism shine in whatever you do and wherever you go. This does not consist only in learning Islam, but also in taking it as a way of life. Then you will be able to set out again to evoke the world with God's love, serving those in need and giving hope and peace back to the world.

31 : 13

وَلَوۡ أَنَّ قُرۡءَانٗا سُيِّرَتۡ بِهِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ أَوۡ قُطِّعَتۡ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَوۡ كُلِّمَ بِهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۗ بَل لِّلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ جَمِيعًاۗ أَفَلَمۡ يَاْيۡـَٔسِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن لَّوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَى ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعٗاۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُواْ قَارِعَةٌ أَوۡ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبٗا مِّن دَارِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَ وَعۡدُ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ

31. Even if there had been a Qur’an with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be split asunder, or the dead could be made to speak ^[15]. Rather, to Allāh belongs the affair entirely. Have not yet those who believe realized that had Allāh willed, He would certainly have guided all people? And those who disbelieve (in Allāh and His messenger Muhammad) a disaster will not cease to strike them because of their (evil) deeds, or it (the disaster) will settle close by their homes, until the Promise of Allāh comes about. Indeed, Allāh will not fail in (His) Promise.

[15]. It would not have been other than this Qur’an.

32 : 13

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

32. Indeed (many) messengers (of God) before you were ridiculed, but I gave respite to those who disbelieved ^[16], then I seized them; so how (terrible) was my punishment?

[16]. So that they would repent, but they did not.

33 : 13

أَفَمَنۡ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡۗ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلۡ سَمُّوهُمۡۚ أَمۡ تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ بِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَم بِظَٰهِرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۗ بَلۡ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكۡرُهُمۡ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۗ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٖ

33. Is He then Who stands (watch) over every soul, (knowing) whatever it earns (like the idols who know nothing)? Yet they ascribe to Allāh partners 'in worship'! Say: "Name them! Or are you (deniers) informing Him of that which He knows not on the earth, or is it (just) a show of empty words?" Rather, their schemes are made to appear fair-seeming to the deniers, and they are kept back from the (right) Path (of Islam). Whomever Allāh leaves astray, for him there is no guide.

34 : 13

لَّهُمۡ عَذَابٞ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَشَقُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٖ

34. For them is a chastisement in this worldly life, and the chastisement of the Hereafter is certainly more grievous, And they will not have from Allāh any savior ^[17].

[17]. There is no savior but Allāh only. Because Allah declared in the Qur’an, the last and final testament, that there is no savior other than Him. As well as we read that in the old Scriptures.
“Before Me 'Allāh' no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me. I, ALONE am God, and apart from me there is no savior.” (Isaiah 43:10–11)
Allâh, the Lord says:
“And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but Me.” (Isaiah 45:21)
“You shall acknowledge no God but me 'Allāh', no Savior except me.” (Hosea 13:4)

35 : 13

۞ مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٞ وَظِلُّهَاۚ تِلۡكَ عُقۡبَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْۚ وَّعُقۡبَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٱلنَّارُ

35. The example of the Garden which have been promised to the righteous; under it rivers flow, its fruits is eternal and its shade. This is the blissful end of those who guard against evil. And the (terrible) end of the deniers is the Fire.

36 : 13

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ مَن يُنكِرُ بَعۡضَهُۥۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَلَآ أُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦٓۚ إِلَيۡهِ أَدۡعُواْ وَإِلَيۡهِ مَـَٔابِ

36. And (the believers among) those to whom We have given the (previous)  Scripture rejoice at what has been sent down to you (Muhammad), but among the (opposing) factions are those who deny a part of it. Say: "I am only commanded to worship Allāh alone and not to associate anything with Him 'in worship'. To Him do I pray and to Him (alone) is my return."

37 : 13

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِيّٗاۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا وَاقٖ

37. Thus have We sent it down (the Qur’an) as (a code of conduct and perfect) judgment in Arabic. But if you follow their low desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you shall not have against Allāh any protector or a savior ^[18].

[18]. The disciples of Jesus once asked, “Who then can be saved and who saves?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man (i.e., Jesus referring himself and all mankind) this is impossible, but with Allāh all things are possible." He is the only Savior. Allāh saves, no one else can save.

38 : 13

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلٗا مِّن قَبۡلِكَ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا وَذُرِّيَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأۡتِيَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٖ كِتَابٞ

38. We have certainly sent messengers before you and gave them wives and offspring, and it is not in (the power of) a messenger to bring a Sign except by Allah’s Permission. For every term there is a written Decree (from Allāh).

39 : 13

يَمۡحُواْ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثۡبِتُۖ وَعِندَهُۥٓ أُمُّ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ

39. Allāh eliminates and confirms whatever He wills (of His earlier messages and decrees), and with Him is the Mother of the Book (the Preserved Tablet).

40 : 13

وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡحِسَابُ

40. Whether We show you (Muhammad) part of what (Chastisement) We threaten them with or cause you to die (before that), only the delivery of the Message is (incumbent) on you, and on Us is the Reckoning (of all).

41 : 13

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا نَأۡتِي ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَحۡكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكۡمِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

41. Do they not seen that We come up to the earth (in their control) diminishing it in its borders? And Allāh judges - there is no power that could reverse His decree - and He is Swift in Reckoning.

42 : 13

وَقَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ جَمِيعٗاۖ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡكُفَّٰرُ لِمَنۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ

42. Those before them have already plotted (against the Truth), then to Allāh belongs the effective plan entirely. He knows what every person earns, and soon the deniers will come to know for whom is the final home (of Bliss).

43 : 13

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَسۡتَ مُرۡسَلٗاۚ قُلۡ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدَۢا بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ وَمَنۡ عِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ

43. And those who have disbelieved (in the truth) say, "You (Muhammad) are not a messenger (sent by Allāh)!". Say: "Allāh is Enough as a Witness between me and you, and he who has knowledge of the Scripture ^[19]."

[19]. the Jews and Christians who embraced Islâm
