28. And if you turn away from them while seeking mercy from your Lord, which you hope for, then speak to them a gentle and kind word.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ يَدَكَ مَغۡلُولَةً إِلَىٰ عُنُقِكَ وَلَا تَبۡسُطۡهَا كُلَّ ٱلۡبَسۡطِ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَلُومٗا مَّحۡسُورًا
29. And do not make your hand shackled to your neck, nor stretch it all out to its utmost reach17, lest you sit blameworthy, destitute.

We should aviod also anything leading to such immoral behaviour including mixed gathering of unrelated men and women in closed places, alluring gestures and coquettish glances, music and dancing of opposite sex, as well as lewd pictures, and consumption of alcohol. In contrast to such filthy living, this verse enjoined chastity, both in and out of marriage. The man that commits adultery with another man’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death by stoning.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

33. Do not kill the soul which Allāh has made sacred, except with 'legal' right19. Whoever is killed unjustly, We have given to his heir authority20, so let him not be extravagant (i.e., exceed) in (retributive) killing; he is certainly aided (by law).

35. Give full the measure when you measure, and weigh with the straight scale. That is better and fairest in determination.
