Translation of the Meanings of the Noble Qur'an - English Translation - Abdullah Hasan Yaqoub * - Translations’ Index

Translation of the meanings Ayah: (46) Surah: Al-Kahf
46. Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the ever-lasting good deeds are far better with your Lord 'Allāh' in reward, and better in hope22.
22. Referring to all the deeds which please Allāh, God Almighty; be they the five daily Prayers, or the words of Remembrance of Allāh, because, unlike the transient adornment of life, they are ‘everlasting’ for their doers, and ‘good’ because they are carried out in a manner that pleases Allāh. Muhammed, God's messenger ﷺ, said: “To say: Subḥānallāh 'Glory be to Allāh', Al-ḥamdu lillāh 'all gratitude be to Allāh', Lā Ilāha illal lāh 'there is no god but Allāh' and Allāhu Akbar 'Allāh is the Greatest' are among the everlasting good deeds.”
