Translation of the meanings Ayah: (104) Surah: Al-Baqarah
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَقُولُواْ رَٰعِنَا وَقُولُواْ ٱنظُرۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعُواْۗ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
104. O believers, do not (imitate the deniers and) say (to God's messenger): Ra’ina (words of ambiguity), but say: Unthurna (words of respect) and listen. And for the disbelievers there is a painful torment29.
29. In this Verse there is evidence of severe prohibition to imitate the pagans and the deniers in their words and actions, their dress, their festivals, their worship and other matters that were not prescribed for us or approved by Islam.
