Ayah: 1

ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Al-Qaria!

مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Und was läßt dich wissen, was Al-Qaria ist?

يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
An einem Tage, da die Menschen gleich verstreuten Motten sein werden

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
und die Berge gleich bunter, zerflockter Wolle

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
dann wird der, dessen Waage schwer ist

ein Wohlleben genießen

dem aber, dessen Waage leicht ist

wird die Hawiya sein Endziel sein.

(Sie ist) ein glühendes Feuer.
