Ayah: 1

اَلْقَارِعَةُ ۟ۙ
[آن] فروکوبنده.

مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ۟ۚ
[آن] فروکوبنده چیست؟

Ayah: 3

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ۟ؕ
و تو چه ‌دانی که [آن] فروکوبنده چیست؟

یَوْمَ یَكُوْنُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوْثِ ۟ۙ
روزی‌ که مردم مانند پروانه‌های پراکنده [حیران و سرگردان] خواهند بود.

وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوْشِ ۟ؕ
و کوه‌ها مانند پشم رنگینِ حلاجی‌شده خواهند شد.

فَاَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِیْنُهٗ ۟ۙ
و اما هر کس که [در آن روز،] کفّۀ میزانش سنگین باشد،

فَهُوَ فِیْ عِیْشَةٍ رَّاضِیَةٍ ۟ؕ
[در بهشت،] در زندگی رضایت‌بخشی خواهد بود.

وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِیْنُهٗ ۟ۙ
و اما هر کس که کفّۀ میزانش سبک باشد،

فَاُمُّهٗ هَاوِیَةٌ ۟ؕ
[مسکن و] پناهگاهش «هاویه» است.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا هِیَهْ ۟ؕ
و تو چه دانی که آن [هاویه] چیست؟

نَارٌ حَامِیَةٌ ۟۠
آتشی است سوزان [و شعله‌ور].
