Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Ghāshiyah   Ayah:

AL-GHAŞIYA

Ayah: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
1. Oare a ajuns la tine vestea despre cea care acoperă(2)?
(2) Ziua Învierii, care acoperă toate făpturile cu efectele ei înspăimântătoare.

Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
2. În Ziua aceea, vor fi chipuri umilite,

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
3. Muncindu‑se, istovite,

Ayah: 4

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
4. Arzând într‑un foc fierbinte.

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
5. Şi li se va da să bea dintr‑un izvor clocotitor

Ayah: 6

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
6. Şi nu vor avea ca mâncare decât dari’(3),
(3) Un soi de tufişuri cu spini pe care nu le pasc nici vitele, din pricină că sunt otrăvitoare şi mortale.

Ayah: 7

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
7. Ce nici nu îngraşă şi nici nu astâmpără foamea.

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
8. Şi în Ziua aceea vor fi chipuri vesele,

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
9. Mulţumite de strădania lor [de pe pământ],

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
10. Într‑o Grădină înălţată,

Ayah: 11

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
11. În care nu vor auzi vorbe deşarte.

Ayah: 12

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
12. În ea va fi un izvor ce curge,

Ayah: 13

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
13. În ea vor fi divanuri ridicate

Ayah: 14

وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
14. Şi pocale aşezate(4)
(4) Dinaintea lor.

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
15. Şi perne rânduite(5)
(5) Pentru a se rezema de ele.

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
16. Şi covoare aşternute.

Ayah: 17

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
17. Oare nu se uită ei la cămile(6) cum sunt ele create?
(6) Care sunt la îndemâna lor, căci se folosesc de ele tot timpul?

Ayah: 18

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
18. Şi la cer, cum este înălţat?

Ayah: 19

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
19. Şi la munţi, cum sunt ei ridicaţi?

Ayah: 20

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
20. Şi la pământ, cum este el întins?

Ayah: 21

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
21. Deci îndeamnă! Tu eşti numai un îndemnător,

Ayah: 22

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
22. Tu nu ai putere asupra lor [ca să‑i sileşti la credinţă],

Ayah: 23

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
23. Însă pe acela care întoarce spatele şi nu crede,

Ayah: 24

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
24. Pe acela îl va chinui Allah cu chinul cel mai mare(7).
(7) Pedeapsa Infernului.

إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
25. La Noi este întoarcerea lor(8)
(8) Prin moarte şi înviere.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
26. Şi Nouă Ne revine să le cerem lor socoteală!
