AL-FAJR

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
1. Pe zori
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٖ
2. Şi pe cele zece nopţi!(2)
(2) Primele zece zile din luna dhu‑l‑hijja (luna pelerinajului).

وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
3. Pe cel care are pereche şi pe cel fără pereche(3)
(3) După o altă interpretare: făpturile şi Creatorul.

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ
4. Şi pe noaptea ce se scurge!

هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٞ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ
5. Oare este acesta un jurământ pentru cel cu pricepere?

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
6. Oare nu ai văzut ce a făcut Domnul tău cu ’Ad,

إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
7. Cu Iram(4), [cetatea] cu corturi ridicate,
(4) Cetate din ţara neamului ‘Ad.

ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
8. Care nu a mai avut seamăn printre cetăţi

Ayah: 9

وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
9. Şi cu cei din neamul Thamud, care au tăiat stâncile din vale,(5)
(5) Sau le‑au scobit pentru a locui în ele.

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
10. Şi cu Faraon, stăpânul oştenilor

ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
11. Care au fost nelegiuiţi în cetăţile [lor]

فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ
12. Şi au înmulţit stricăciunea în ele?

Ayah: 13

فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ
13. Aşadar, Domnul tău a vărsat asupra lor chinuri felurite!

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ
14. Domnul tău este la pândă!

Ayah: 15

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ
15. Cât despre om, când Domnul său îl încearcă şi îl cinsteşte şi este îndurător cu el, atunci el zice: „Domnul meu m‑a cinstit!”

Ayah: 16

وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
16. Însă când Domnul său îl încearcă şi‑i micşorează lui înzestrarea, atunci el zice: „Domnul meu m‑a umilit!”

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
17. Dar nu! Voi nu‑l cinstiţi pe orfan

وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
18. Şi nu vă îndemnaţi la hrănirea sărmanului

Ayah: 19

وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلٗا لَّمّٗا
19. Şi mâncaţi moştenirea(6) cu lăcomie
(6) Cuvântul arab turath, tradus prin „moştenire”, are două semnificaţii: fie averea în general, fie moştenirea propriu‑zisă (aici a copiilor orfani şi a femeilor).

Ayah: 20

وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبّٗا جَمّٗا
20. Şi iubiţi averea cu o dragoste fără de margini!

كَلَّآۖ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ دَكّٗا دَكّٗا
21. Nu!(7) Când pământul va fi prefăcut în pulbere
(7) Nu mai faceţi aşa şi fiţi cu frică de o Zi înspăimântătoare!

وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفّٗا صَفّٗا
22. Şi va veni Domnul tău, când îngerii vor sta rânduri‑rânduri

Ayah: 23

وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
23. Şi va fi adusă în Ziua aceea Gheena, în Ziua aceea omul îşi aminteşte. Dar cum să‑i mai fie lui de folos amintirea?

Ayah: 24

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي
24. Şi va zice el: „Ce bine ar fi fost, dacă aş fi făcut mai înainte [fapte bune] pentru viaţa mea!”

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
25. Dar în Ziua aceea nimeni nu va osândi aşa cum osândeşte El

وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
26. Şi nimeni nu va lega aşa de strâns cum leagă El...

يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ
27. „O, tu suflet liniştit!

ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةٗ مَّرۡضِيَّةٗ
28. Întoarce‑te la Domnul tău mulţumit şi împăcat

Ayah: 29

فَٱدۡخُلِي فِي عِبَٰدِي
29. Şi intră între robii Mei

Ayah: 30

وَٱدۡخُلِي جَنَّتِي
30. Şi intră în Raiul Meu(8)!”
(8) Împreună cu ei.
