AN-NABA’

Ayah: 1

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Despre ce întreabă întreolaltă?

Ayah: 2

عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Despre Vestea cea mare[1],

Ayah: 3

ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
În privința căreia sunt în neînțelegere!

Ayah: 4

كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Ei, bine, nu! Ei o să afle cât de curând!

Ayah: 5

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Și încă o dată: Nu! Ei o să afle!

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
Oare nu am făcut Noi Pământul un pat?

Ayah: 7

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
Și munții ca țăruși?[2]
[2] Pentru a face Pământul stabil și echilibrat

وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
Și v-am creat pe voi perechi

وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
Și v-am lăsat vouă somnul [un mijloc] pentru odihnă

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
Și am făcut din noapte un veșmânt[3]
[3] Acoperindu-vă și ascunzându-vă în întunecimea sa

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
Și am făcut ziua pentru agonisirea hranei

وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
Și am durat deasupra voastră șapte [Ceruri] întărite

وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
Și am făcut o lampă aprinsă [Soarele]

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
Și am pogorât din Nori apă din belșug,

لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
Pentru ca să facem să se ivească grâne și ierburi, cu ajutorul ei,

Ayah: 16

وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
Și grădini dese.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
Cu adevărat, Ziua Judecății va fi un termen [pentru adunare]!

Ayah: 18

يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
O Zi în care se va suna în Trâmbiță și veți veni în cete,

Ayah: 19

وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
Și se va deschide Cerul cu niște porți

Ayah: 20

وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
Și munții vor fi clintiți din loc și vor fi ca un miraj,

Ayah: 21

إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
Cu adevărat, Gheena va fi loc de chinuri

Ayah: 22

لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
Și va fi adăpost pentru nelegiuiți,

Ayah: 23

لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
Pentru a petrece în ea veacuri la rând;

Ayah: 24

لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
Nu vor gusta în ea răcoare și nici băutură,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 25

إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
Ci numai apă clocotită și puroi,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 26

جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
Ca răsplată dreaptă![4]
[4] În comparație cu păcatele lor

Ayah: 27

إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
Cu adevărat, ei nu se așteaptau să dea socoteală
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 28

وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
Și țin de minciună Versetele Noastre, fără întrerupere,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 29

وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
În vreme ce toate lucrurile sunt adunate într-o carte.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 30

فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
„Gustați, așadar [pedeapsa voastră]! Și nu vă vom spori vouă decât chinul!”[5]
[5] Li se va spune celor din Iad
