Sura At-Tur

Ayah: 1

وَٱلطُّورِ
[Juro] por el monte,
El Monte Sinaí, donde Moisés recibió la revelación.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَكِتَٰبٖ مَّسۡطُورٖ
por el Libro escrito
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

فِي رَقّٖ مَّنشُورٖ
en un pergamino desplegado,
El Libro puede ser la Tora, originalmente revelada a Moisés o, según algunos exégetas, es la Tabla Preservada.

Ayah: 4

وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ
por la casa frecuentada,
Es una casa creada para la adoración de Dios en el Cielo, que es exactamente igual a la Ka’bah y es frecuentada por ángeles.

Ayah: 5

وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ
por la bóveda elevada,

وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ
por el mar que se desborda,

Ayah: 7

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٞ
que el castigo de tu Señor es inevitable

مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٖ
y no hay quién lo pueda impedir.

يَوۡمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوۡرٗا
El día que el cielo se agite intensamente

Ayah: 10

وَتَسِيرُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرٗا
y las montañas se muevan,

Ayah: 11

فَوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
¡Cuán desdichados serán ese día los que rechazaron la verdad!,

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي خَوۡضٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ
aquellos que en su ignorancia se burlaban.

يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
El día que sean empujados al fuego del Infierno,

هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
[se les dirá:] "Este es el Fuego que desmentían.

أَفَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
¿Acaso les parece esto una hechicería, o es que no ven?

Ayah: 16

ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Entren en él, lo soporten o no, será igual. Solo se los castiga por lo que obraron".

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَعِيمٖ
En cambio, los piadosos morarán en jardines y deleite.

فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Disfrutando lo que su Señor les conceda. Su Señor los salvó del castigo del Infierno.

Ayah: 19

كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
"Coman y beban para satisfacerse, como recompensa por sus obras".

Ayah: 20

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّصۡفُوفَةٖۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ
Estarán recostados sobre sofás distribuidos en líneas, y los desposaremos con huríes de grandes ojos.

Ayah: 21

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٞ
Los creyentes y sus descendientes que los hayan seguido en la fe serán reunidos, sin que se pierda ninguna de sus obras. Toda persona es responsable de sus propias acciones.

Ayah: 22

وَأَمۡدَدۡنَٰهُم بِفَٰكِهَةٖ وَلَحۡمٖ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ
Los agraciaremos con tanta fruta y carne como la que deseen.

Ayah: 23

يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأۡسٗا لَّا لَغۡوٞ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمٞ
Se pasarán unos a otros una copa que no incitará a frivolidades ni pecados.

Ayah: 24

۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانٞ لَّهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ
Serán rodeados por sirvientes, bellos como perlas guardadas.

Ayah: 25

وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Y [los bienaventurados] se preguntarán unos a otros.
Se preguntarán qué les hizo merecer el Paraíso.

Ayah: 26

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ
Dirán: "Cuando estábamos viviendo junto a nuestra familia, teníamos temor,
De caer en lo que desagrada a Dios.

Ayah: 27

فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ
pero Dios nos agració y nos preservó del tormento del Fuego.

Ayah: 28

إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
A Él le suplicábamos, pues Él es el Bondadoso, el Misericordioso".

Ayah: 29

فَذَكِّرۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٖ وَلَا مَجۡنُونٍ
Llama al Mensaje [¡oh, Mujámmad!], tú no eres, por la gracia de tu Señor, un adivino ni un loco.
Dios defiende al Profeta de dos acusaciones que le hacían los incrédulos.

Ayah: 30

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٞ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيۡبَ ٱلۡمَنُونِ
O te acusan diciendo: "Es un poeta, esperemos a que le llegue la muerte".
Y así nos libraremos de él.

Ayah: 31

قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُواْ فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
Diles: "Sigan esperando, que yo esperaré junto a ustedes".

Ayah: 32

أَمۡ تَأۡمُرُهُمۡ أَحۡلَٰمُهُم بِهَٰذَآۚ أَمۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ
¿Son sus mentes las que los llevan a decir esto o son gente que transgrede los límites?

Ayah: 33

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥۚ بَل لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
También dicen: "Él lo ha inventado". Pero la verdad es que no creen.
“Él lo ha inventado”: Al Corán.

Ayah: 34

فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِحَدِيثٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ
¡Que presenten ellos un libro semejante, si es verdad lo que dicen!

Ayah: 35

أَمۡ خُلِقُواْ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ شَيۡءٍ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ
¿Acaso surgieron de la nada o son ellos sus propios creadores?
surgieron de la nada: Sin Creador que los creara.

Ayah: 36

أَمۡ خَلَقُواْ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ
¿O crearon los cielos y la Tierra? No tienen certeza de nada.

Ayah: 37

أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡمُصَۜيۡطِرُونَ
¿Acaso poseen los tesoros de tu Señor o tienen autoridad absoluta?

Ayah: 38

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ سُلَّمٞ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ فِيهِۖ فَلۡيَأۡتِ مُسۡتَمِعُهُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ
¿O tienen una escalera para escuchar los designios de Dios? Quien de ellos logre escuchar, que traiga una prueba clara.

Ayah: 39

أَمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ
¿Acaso a Dios Le pertenecen las hijas mujeres y a ellos los hijos varones?
las hijas mujeres: Ver Corán 16:57.

Ayah: 40

أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ
¿O acaso tú [¡oh, Mujámmad!] les pides una retribución que hace que se vean abrumados por las deudas?
una retribución: Por trasmitirles el Mensaje.

abrumados por las deudas: Y por eso se nieguen a creer.

Ayah: 41

أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
¿O tienen el conocimiento de lo oculto y lo han registrado?

Ayah: 42

أَمۡ يُرِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗاۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡمَكِيدُونَ
¿O es que quieren tenderte una trampa? Los que se niegan a creer son quienes han caído en una trampa.

Ayah: 43

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
¿O acaso tienen otra divinidad además de Dios? ¡Glorificado sea Dios de cuanto Le asocian!

Ayah: 44

وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كِسۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطٗا يَقُولُواْ سَحَابٞ مَّرۡكُومٞ
Si vieran caer parte del cielo dirían: "Son solo nubes acumuladas".

Ayah: 45

فَذَرۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يُصۡعَقُونَ
Déjalos, que ya les llegará el día en que quedarán paralizados de terror.

Ayah: 46

يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُمۡ كَيۡدُهُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
Ese día no los beneficiarán en nada sus argucias y nadie los auxiliará.

Ayah: 47

وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابٗا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Los injustos sufrirán, además de este, otros castigos, pero la mayoría no lo sabe.

Ayah: 48

وَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَاۖ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
Ten paciencia con los designios de tu Señor, y sabe que te encuentras bajo Mis ojos. Glorifica con alabanzas a tu Señor cuando te levantes [a orar],

Ayah: 49

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَإِدۡبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ
por la noche y al ocultarse las estrellas.
