Ayah: 1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ
Ìwọ olùdaṣọbora.

قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ
Dìde kí o ṣèkìlọ̀.

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرۡ
Olúwa rẹ sì ni kí o gbé títóbi fún.

وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرۡ
Aṣọ rẹ ni kí o fọ̀ mọ́.

وَٱلرُّجۡزَ فَٱهۡجُرۡ
Òrìṣà ni kí o jìnnà sí.

وَلَا تَمۡنُن تَسۡتَكۡثِرُ
Má ṣe tọrẹ nítorí kí o lè rí púpọ̀ gbà.

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصۡبِرۡ
Olúwa rẹ ni kí o ṣe sùúrù fún.

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي ٱلنَّاقُورِ
Nígbà tí wọ́n bá fọn fèrè oníwo fún àjíǹde,

فَذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَوۡمٌ عَسِيرٌ
ìyẹn, ní ọjọ́ yẹn, ni ọjọ́ ìnira,

عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ غَيۡرُ يَسِيرٖ
tí kò níí rọrùn fún àwọn aláìgbàgbọ́.

ذَرۡنِي وَمَنۡ خَلَقۡتُ وَحِيدٗا
Fi Mí dá ẹni tí Mo dá ní òun nìkan (ìyẹn nínú ikùn ìyá rẹ̀).

وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالٗا مَّمۡدُودٗا
Mo sì fún un ní ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ dúkìá

وَبَنِينَ شُهُودٗا
àti àwọn ọmọkúnrin tó ń bẹ pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.

وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدٗا
Mo sì fi àyè ìrọ̀rùn gbá a dáadáa.

ثُمَّ يَطۡمَعُ أَنۡ أَزِيدَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, ó tún ń jẹ̀rankàn pé kí N̄g ṣe àlékún.

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدٗا
Rárá o! Dájúdájú ó jẹ́ alátakò sí àwọn āyah Wa.

سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا
Èmi yóò la ìyà pọ́nkèpọ́nkè bọ̀ ọ́ lọ́rùn (nínú Iná)¹.
[1] Orúkọ àpáta ńlá kan nínú Iná ni Sọ‘ūd. Kèfèrí yóò máa pọ́n òkè náà láààrin àádọ́rin ọdún ní àpọ́njábọ́. Ìdí nìyí tí wọ́n fi pe ìyà náà ní ìyà pọ́nkèpọ́nkè.

Ayah: 18

إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ
Dájúdájú ó ronú (lódì nípa al-Ƙur’ān). Ó sì pinnu (ọ̀rọ̀ kan nínú ẹ̀mí rẹ̀).

فَقُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ
Wọ́n sì ṣẹ́bi lé e nípa bí ó ṣe pinnu.

ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, Wọ́n tún ṣẹ́bi lé e nípa bí ó ṣe pinnu.

ثُمَّ نَظَرَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, ó wò sùn.

ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, ó fajú ro, ó sì dijú mágbárí.

ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, ó pẹ̀yìndà, ó sì ṣègbéraga.

فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ
Ó sì wí pé: “Kí ni èyí bí kò ṣe idán àtọwọ́dọ́wọ́.

Ayah: 25

إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوۡلُ ٱلۡبَشَرِ
Kí ni èyí bí kò ṣe ọ̀rọ̀ abara”

سَأُصۡلِيهِ سَقَرَ
Èmi yóò fi sínú iná Saƙọr.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ
Kí l’ó mú ọ mọ ohun tó ń jẹ́ iná Saƙọr?

لَا تُبۡقِي وَلَا تَذَرُ
(Saƙọr) kò níí ṣẹ́ ẹ kù, kò sì níí pa á tì.¹
1. Ìyẹn ni pé, Iná náà yóò máa jó o lọ, kò sì níí gba ẹ̀mí rẹ̀.

لَوَّاحَةٞ لِّلۡبَشَرِ
Ó máa jó awọ ara di dúdú.

عَلَيۡهَا تِسۡعَةَ عَشَرَ
(Àwọn mọlāika) mọ́kàndínlógún ni ẹ̀ṣọ́ rẹ̀.

وَمَا جَعَلۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗۖ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا عِدَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيَسۡتَيۡقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَيَزۡدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنٗا وَلَا يَرۡتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ
Àwa kò ṣe ẹnì kan ní ẹ̀ṣọ́ Iná àfi àwọn mọlāika. Àwa kò sì ṣe òǹkà wọn (bẹ́ẹ̀) bí kò ṣe (nítorí kí ó lè jẹ́) àdánwò fún àwọn tó ṣàì gbàgbọ́, àti nítorí kí àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà lè ní àmọ̀dájú àti nítorí kí àwọn tí wọ́n gbàgbọ́ ní òdodo lè lékún ní ìgbàgbọ́ òdodo. (Ó rí bẹ́ẹ̀) nítorí kí àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà àti àwọn onígbàgbọ́ òdodo má baà ṣeyèméjì àti nítorí kí àwọn tí àrùn wà nínú ọkàn wọn àti àwọn aláìgbàgbọ́ lè wí pé: “Kí ni Allāhu gbà lérò pẹ̀lú àpèjúwe yìí?” Báyẹn ni Allāhu ṣe ń ṣi ẹni tí Ó bá fẹ́ lọ́nà, Ó sì ń tọ́ ẹni tí Ó bá fẹ́ sọ́nà. Kò sì sí ẹni tí ó mọ àwọn ọmọ ogun Olúwa rẹ àfi Òun náà. (Iná Saƙọr) kò sì jẹ́ kiní kan bí kò ṣe ìrántí fún abara.

كَلَّا وَٱلۡقَمَرِ
Ẹ gbọ́! Allāhu fi òṣùpá búra.

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذۡ أَدۡبَرَ
Ó tún fi alẹ́ nígbà tí ó bá lọ búra.

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَآ أَسۡفَرَ
Ó tún fi òwúrọ̀ nígbà tí ojúmọ́ bá mọ́ búra.

إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ
Dájúdájú (iná Saƙọr) ni ọ̀kan nínú (àwọn àdánwò) tó tóbi.

نَذِيرٗا لِّلۡبَشَرِ
(Ó jẹ́) ìkìlọ̀ fún abara.

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوۡ يَتَأَخَّرَ
Fún ẹni tí ó bá fẹ́ nínú yín láti tẹ̀ síwájú tàbí láti fà sẹ́yìn (nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀).

كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ
Ẹ̀mí kọ̀ọ̀kan ni onídùúró fún ohun tó ṣe níṣẹ́.

إِلَّآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡيَمِينِ
Àyàfi àwọn èrò ọwọ́ ọ̀tún.

فِي جَنَّٰتٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Wọn yóò máa bira wọn léèrè ọ̀rọ̀ nínú àwọn Ọgbà Ìdẹ̀ra

عَنِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
nípa àwọn ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀ pé:

مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ
“Kí ni ó mu yín wọ inú iná Saƙọr?”

قَالُواْ لَمۡ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
Wọn yóò wí pé: “Àwa kò sí nínú àwọn olùkírun ni.

وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ
Àwa kò sì sí nínú àwọn tó ń bọ́ àwọn mẹ̀kúnnù.

وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلۡخَآئِضِينَ
Àwa sì máa ń sọ ìsọkúsọ pẹ̀lú àwọn onísọkúsọ.

وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
Àti pé àwa máa ń pe Ọjọ́ ẹ̀san ní irọ́

حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلۡيَقِينُ
títí ikú fi dé bá wa.”

فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمۡ شَفَٰعَةُ ٱلشَّٰفِعِينَ
Ìpẹ̀ àwọn olùṣìpẹ̀ kò sì níí ṣe wọ́n ní àǹfààní.

فَمَا لَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلتَّذۡكِرَةِ مُعۡرِضِينَ
Kí ló mú wọn ná tí wọ́n ń gbúnrí kúrò níbi ìrántí

كَأَنَّهُمۡ حُمُرٞ مُّسۡتَنفِرَةٞ
bí ẹni pé àwọn ni kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ tó ń sá lọ,

فَرَّتۡ مِن قَسۡوَرَةِۭ
tó sá fún kìnìhún?

بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفٗا مُّنَشَّرَةٗ
Rárá, ńṣe ni ẹnì kọ̀ọ̀kan nínú wọn ń fẹ́ kí Á fún òun náà ní Tírà tí ó máa ṣeé tẹ́ han àwọn ènìyàn (bíi ti al-Ƙur’ān).

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
Rárá. Wọn kò páyà ọ̀run ni.

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةٞ
Ẹ gbọ́! Dájúdájú al-Ƙur’ān ni ìrántí.

Nítorí náà, ẹni tí ó bá fẹ́, kí ó rántí rẹ̀.

وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ
Wọn kò sì níí rántí (al-Ƙur’ān) àfi tí Allāhu bá fẹ́. (Allāhu) Òun l’a gbọ́dọ̀ bẹ̀rù. Òun l’ó sì ni àforíjìn.
