Traducción de significados Capítulo: Sura Al-Qalam   Versículo:

Al-Qalam

1. Noon¹. By the Pen, and what they (the angels) write.
1. The Qur’an is made up of such letter from the Arabic alphabet. The Arabs at the time of revelation were the unmatched masters of the Arabic language and yet when challenged were totally unable to bring anything like the Qur’an. Although these disjointed Arabic letters are referring to the inimitable nature of the Qur’an and its divine source, God knows best its meaning.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
2. By the Favor of your Lord 'Allāh', you 'Muhammad' are not out of your mind².
2. As the polytheistic pagans claimed.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
3. You will certainly have a reward uninterrupted.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
4. You 'Muhammad' are surely of a great moral character.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
5. So you will see, and they 'the pagans too' will see,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
6. Which of you is afflicted 'with delusion'.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
7. Your Lord 'Allāh" knows best him who has gone astray from His way, and who is 'rightly' guided.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
8. So do not obey the deniers (of the Truth).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
9. They wish that you would compromise³, so they (too) would compromise 'with you'.
3. About the fundamentals of Islam - the true religion of God, so to meet in the middle, between belief and unbelief.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
10. Obey not every worthless habitual swearer,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
11. A slanderer, going about with malicious gossip,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
12. Withholder of good, transgressing and sinful,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
13. Cruel, and besides all that, base-born.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
14. (He was so) because he had wealth and children.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
15. When Our Verses (of The Qur'an) are recited to him, he says: "These are ancients legends."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
16. We shall soon brand him on the snout.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
17. We have tested 'these pagans" as We tested the owners of the garden, when they swore to cut its fruit in the (early) morning,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
18. And made no exception (by saying: if Allāh wills)⁴.
4. Or without leaving some for the poor.

Las Exégesis Árabes:
19. Then there came upon (the garden) an affliction from 'Allāh' your Lord, while they were sleeping.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
20. So it became as if it was reaped.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
21. Then by morning they called out to each other,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
22. Saying: "Go early to your crop if you would reap 'the harvest'."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
23. So they went off, whispering:
Las Exégesis Árabes:
24. "Let no poor person enter into the garden today."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
25. And they went early determined in (this unjust) resolve⁵.
5. To carry out their plan, confident of their ability.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
26. But when they saw it 'utterly destroyed', they said: "We are surely lost"
Las Exégesis Árabes:
27. Rather, We are deprived (of the fruits).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
28. The best of them said: "Did I not say to you that you should glorify 'Allāh'?"
Las Exégesis Árabes:
29. They said: "Glory be to our Lord 'Allāh' - we have been unjust."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
30. Then they turned to one another, throwing blame.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
31. They said: "Woe to us, we were certainly transgressors."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
32. Perhaps 'Allāh' our Lord will substitute for us a better 'garden' than it. We are turning to our Lord in repentance and hope)⁶.
6. Of His mercy, forgiveness, and bounty.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
33. Such is the chastisement (in this life), and the Chastisement of the Hereafter is more grievous - if only they knew.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
34. The righteous shall have gardens of Bliss near their Lord 'Allāh'.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
35. Shall We then treat the Muslims (who submit to God’s will) as the wicked.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
36. What is the matter with you? How do you judge?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
37. Or have you a scripture in which you read,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
38. That you have therein whatever you choose?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
39. Or do you have a solemn promise binding on us until the Day of Resurrection, that you will have whatever you judge?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
40. Ask them, which of them can guarantee that.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
41. Or do they have partners 'other deities besides Allāh'? Then let them bring their partners⁷, if they are truthful.
7. I.e., those to whom they attribute divinity other than Allāh, or partners to Him from among themselves.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
42. On the Day when the Shin 'of Allāh' will be bared⁸, and they (the deniers and hypocrites) will be called upon to prostrate, but they will not be able to do so⁹,
8. In accordance with authentic ḥadīths: "The Shin" here refers to that of Allāh, before which every believer will prostrate on the Day of Judgement. Another meaning of the verse: When legs are bared and everyone will find before him great difficulty.
9. As they failed to do so willingly in this worldly life.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
43. Their eyes cast down, humiliation will cover them; and indeed they were called upon to prostrate, while they were sound (of health and able to prostrate).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
44. So leave Me 'to deal' with those who reject this 'Divine' statement (Qur’an); We shall gradually draw them (to their ruin), from where they perceive not.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
45. I will give them time. My Plan is so firm 'that they will not be able to escape from it'.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
46. Or do you ask them a payment (for this Message), so that they are overburdened with debt?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
47. Or do they have (the knowledge of) the unseen, so they write it down.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
48. So be patient for the decision of 'Allāh' your Lord, and be not like the fellow of the whale (Jonah), when he cried out in anguish¹⁰.
10. While inside the belly of the whale.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
49. Had not a grace from his Lord 'Allāh' reached him, he would have been cast forth upon the barren shore while he was blameworthy¹¹.
11. But instead, Allāh accepted his repentance and delivered him from that.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
50. But his Lord 'Allāh' chose him, and made him of the righteous.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
51. Those who deny 'the Truth' would almost make you 'Muhammad' slip with their eyes (through hatred) when they hear the Reminder (the Qur’an), and they say: "He is out of his mind."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
52. But it (this Qur’an) is only a reminder to all the nations.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
