Ayah: 30

يَوۡمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ مُّحۡضَرٗا وَمَا عَمِلَتۡ مِن سُوٓءٖ تَوَدُّ لَوۡ أَنَّ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَهُۥٓ أَمَدَۢا بَعِيدٗاۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسَهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

30. On the Day when every soul shall find present what it has done of good, and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between it and that (evil) there was a great distance. Allāh warns you about Himself. Allāh is Kind to (His) servants.

Ayah: 31

قُلۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِي يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

31. Say, (O Muhammad): "If you love Allāh 'God'9, follow me - Allāh will love you and forgive your sins. For Allāh is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful.

9. If you love Allāh - you are patient, loving, kind, and merciful; you don't envy or boast; you are not arrogant or rude. You do not knowingly insist on the wrong way; rather, you will follow the Way of Allāh (Islam).

Ayah: 32

قُلۡ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

32. Say, "Obey Allāh and the Messenger 'Muhammad'. If they turn away, then certainly Allāh does not like the deniers.

Ayah: 33

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ وَنُوحٗا وَءَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَءَالَ عِمۡرَٰنَ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

33. Indeed, Allāh chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham and the family of Imran (Amram) over all the people of the world10.

10. Allāh chose them above all people of their times: Adam whom Allāh created with His own hands, made the angels do obeisance to him; Noah, whom He made the first bearer of His message to humanity; Abraham, the beloved of Allāh, and his descendants among whom is a great number of prophets, including Muhammad (ﷺ), the last and final messenger of Allāh; the Family of ‘Imrān: ‘Amram' and his wife, their daughter Mary and her son Jesus, who is one of the greatest prophets of children of Israel.

Ayah: 34

ذُرِّيَّةَۢ بَعۡضُهَا مِنۢ بَعۡضٖۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

34. Descendants of one another. Allāh is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Ayah: 35

إِذۡ قَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ عِمۡرَٰنَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرۡتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطۡنِي مُحَرَّرٗا فَتَقَبَّلۡ مِنِّيٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

35. When the wife of Imraan said: 'Lord 'Allāh', "Indeed, I have made a vow to dedicate for you what is in my womb, consecrated (for Your service). So accept it from me. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

Ayah: 36

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتۡهَا قَالَتۡ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعۡتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتۡ وَلَيۡسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلۡأُنثَىٰۖ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيۡتُهَا مَرۡيَمَ وَإِنِّيٓ أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ

36. When she delivered her, she said: "O Lord, I have delivered a female, and Allāh knew best what she delivered. And the male is not as the female." I have named her Maryam 'Mary', and I commend her and her offspring into Your Protection from the accursed Satan11.

11. The Prophet Muhammad said: “Every newborn child is touched by the devil and they start off by wailing because of this touch, except Mary and her son Jesus ”.

Ayah: 37

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٖ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنٗا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيۡهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزۡقٗاۖ قَالَ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَتۡ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرۡزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ

37.  So her Lord graciously accepted her with a good acceptance, and made her grow up a goodly growing, and placed her into the custody of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah entered the sanctuary to (see) her, he found with her (fresh) food12. He asked: "O Mary, from where have you got this?" She said: "It is from Allāh." Indeed Allāh gives to whom He wills without limit.

12. Wholesome fruits which did not belong to that season.
