[3]. Picking and swallowing them up from that great gathering of mankind on the Day of Resurrection just as a bird picks up a food-grain from the earth with its beak and swallows it up.
[5]. Each of you must know how to control his own body being aware of your physical impulses, desires, and actions.
It is all about chastity, avoiding forbidden acts, and maintaining moral integrity In spiritual purity and honor living in a way that is pleasing to Allāh, avoiding sin and immoral actions, maintaining dignity, integrity, and respect for oneself and others.
The bodily control is not just about abstaining from sin, but also about living with spiritual nobility, being available for Allah’s purpose and separated from things profane.
This explains the reason for controlling the body: to dedicate oneself fully to Allāh, avoiding actions, desires, or distractions that are contrary to Allah’s guidance.
Essentially, the body is being treated as a tool for worship and good deeds, not for indulgence in what is forbidden or spiritually harmful.
True devotion starts with self-control and bodily discipline.
A person should live in moral purity and honor, not letting base desires dominate.
This prepares one to serve Allāh fully, free from the distractions or corruption of worldly temptations.
[6]. Muhammad, God's messenger (ﷺ) said: "Oh believers, guarantee me you will do six things and I guarantee you Paradise. Whenever you speak say the truth. Fulfill your promises when you make them. When you are entrusted with something, carry out that trust. Safeguard your private parts, lower your gaze and prevent your hands from (stealing and) harming others.”
The prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) also said: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe. And the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allāh has forbidden."
The Muslim does not insult, curse, or backbite, nor does he seek to sow any type of evil or corruption among people. Also, people are safe from his hand, so he does not assault them, take their property without right, or do anything of that nature. The real emigrant, is the one who gives up what Allāh, the Almighty, has forbidden.
[7]. Everyone who acknowledges and testifies that Allāh is the only true God and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allāh, Allāh will admit him to Paradise, but the one who denies Allāh and His messenger, the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), will be denied to enter Paradise.
[9]. And what is in them, of the sun and the moon and the constellations: i.e., Allāh swearing by Himself. Allāh is the One Who determines the daily points of sunrise and sunset according to each season by the rotation of the earth around its axis.
