84
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡ
1. When the sky bursts asunder,

84
وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
2. And has listened to its Lord and it must do so.
التفاسير:

:
84
وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡ
3. And when the earth is stretched out,
التفاسير:

4
:
84
وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ
4. And has thrown out what is in it [1] and became empty,
[1]. i.e., its dead bodies and treasures.
التفاسير:

5
:
84
وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
5. And has listened to its Lord and it must do so.
التفاسير:

:
84
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدۡحٗا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ
6. O man, indeed, you are exerting yourself to your Lord with (great) exertion, and will meet Him [2].
[2] So practice righteousness and charity, as we will indeed meet Allāh, and receive just rewards for our deeds and our intentions.

84
فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ
7. As for him who is given his record in his right hand,
التفاسير:

:
84
فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابٗا يَسِيرٗا
8. He will be soon reckoned with an easy Reckoning [3];
[3]. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Whoever will be called to account (about his deeds on the Day of Resurrection) will surely be punished." He was asked, "Doesn't Allah say: "He surely will receive an easy reckoning." (Q 84.8) The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "This means only the presentation of the accounts but whoever will be argued about his account, will certainly be ruined."

84
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورٗا
9. And return to his people happily.
التفاسير:
|
10
:
84
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ
10. But as for him who is given his Record behind his back,
التفاسير:
|
11
:
84
فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗا
11. He will cry out for destruction (i.e., death),
التفاسير:
|
12
:
84
وَيَصۡلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
12. And will burn in the Blazing Fire.
التفاسير:
|
13
:
84
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا
13. Indeed, he had been (living) among his family happily.
التفاسير:
|
14
:
84
إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ
14. Indeed, He had thought that he would never return (to Us).
التفاسير:

15
:
84
بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗا
15. But yes! Indeed, His Lord was ever of him, seeing.
التفاسير:

16
:
84
فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ
16. Yet no! I swear by the twilight,
التفاسير:
|
17
:
84
وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
17. And (by) the night, and all it encloses,
التفاسير:
|
18
:
84
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ
18. And (by) the moon as it grows full -
التفاسير:
|
19
:
84
لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ
19. You will certainly pass from one state to another.
التفاسير:
|
20
:
84
فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
20. So what is the matter with them that they do not believe?
التفاسير:
|
21
:
84
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩
21. And when the Qur’an is recited to them they do not prostrate (nor submit to its Commandments)?

:
84
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَ
22. Rather, those who disbelieve deny (the Truth).
التفاسير:
|
23
:
84
وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
23. And Allāh knows best whatever they hide,
التفاسير:
|
24
:
84
فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
24. So announce to them a painful torment;
