ಅರ್ಥಗಳ ಅನುವಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ್ - ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಅನುವಾದ - ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸನ್ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ - ಪುಟ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 260 - ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕುರ್‌ಆನ್ ವಿಶ್ವಕೋಶ

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 34

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَظَلُومٞ كَفَّارٞ

34. And He gave you from all you asked of Him12. And if you should count Allah’s Favors, you will not be able to number them. Indeed, man (i.e., the denier) is truly unjust, ungrateful.

12. Something of what you asked and all of what you require, according to His wisdom.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 35

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدَ ءَامِنٗا وَٱجۡنُبۡنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ

35. (Consider) when Abraham prayed: "Lord 'Allāh', make this town 'Makkah' secure, and keep me away and my sons from the worship of idols.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 36

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضۡلَلۡنَ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّيۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

36. Lord, surely they (the idols) have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are 'yet' Forgiving, Merciful.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 37

رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّيٓ أَسۡكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيۡرِ ذِي زَرۡعٍ عِندَ بَيۡتِكَ ٱلۡمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجۡعَلۡ أَفۡـِٔدَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهۡوِيٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱرۡزُقۡهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَشۡكُرُونَ

37. Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring (Ishmael and his descendants) in an uncultivated valley near Your Sacred House (at Makkah), our Lord, that they may keep up the prayer; so make the hearts among the people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits, so that they may be grateful.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 38

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعۡلَمُ مَا نُخۡفِي وَمَا نُعۡلِنُۗ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ

38. Our Lord, surely You know all that we conceal or reveal. And nothing on the earth or in the heaven is hidden from Allāh.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 39

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى ٱلۡكِبَرِ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ

39. All Praise be to Allāh, Who has given me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is surely the Hearer of prayer.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 40

رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ

40. Lord, make me one who keeps up the prayer, and my offspring. Our Lord, and accept my prayer.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 41

رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ

41. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day when the Reckoning (and Judgment) arises.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 42

وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٖ تَشۡخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ

42. Do not think that Allāh is unaware of what the unjust people do. He only gives them respite until a Day when the eyes will stare fixedly,
