Al-Ma‘ārij

سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ
1. One demanding, demanded to experience a Torment bound to come;
阿拉伯语经注:
لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ
2. To the deniers - there is none to avert it,
阿拉伯语经注:
مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ
3. From Allah - the Lord of the ways of ascent.
阿拉伯语经注:
تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ
4. By which the angels and the (holy) spirit (Gabriel) ascend to Him in a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
阿拉伯语经注:
فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرٗا جَمِيلًا
5. So be patient with a beautiful patience¹.
1. In which there is no anguish or complain.
阿拉伯语经注:
إِنَّهُمۡ يَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِيدٗا
6. They think that it (the Day of Resurrection) is far away,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبٗا
7. But We see it quite near.
阿拉伯语经注:
يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
8. On the Day when the sky will be as molten copper.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ
9. And the mountains become like tufts of wool.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا
10. No friend (that Day) will ask (anything of) a close friend,
阿拉伯语经注:
يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ
11. Even though they will see one other. The wicked would wish to ransom himself from the Torment of that Day by offering his children,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ
12. And his spouse and his brother,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي تُـٔۡوِيهِ
13. And the nearest kindred who sheltered him,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
14. And all those that on the earth, (wishing) then, (that) this might save him.
阿拉伯语经注:
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
15. By no means. It is a raging flame! -
阿拉伯语经注:
نَزَّاعَةٗ لِّلشَّوَىٰ
16. Stripping off the skin of one's head (and the flesh from one's bones);
阿拉伯语经注:
تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
17. It will claim him who turned his back and turned away,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰٓ
18. And amassed (wealth) then hoarded (it).
阿拉伯语经注:
۞ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
19. Man is created of a hasty temperament,
阿拉伯语经注:
إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعٗا
20. Despairing and impatient when evil afflicts him,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ مَنُوعًا
21. But miserly when good touches him,
阿拉伯语经注:
إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
22. Except those who pray (to Allah alone, i.e., the believers),
阿拉伯语经注:
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَآئِمُونَ
23. Who are constant in their prayer,
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
24. Those in whose wealth there is a known right (a fixed portion).
阿拉伯语经注:
لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
25. For the needy and the deprived.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
26. Who acknowledge the Day of (Judgment and) Recompense.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ
27. Who are afraid of the Torment of their Lord (Allah).
阿拉伯语经注:
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمۡ غَيۡرُ مَأۡمُونٖ
28. The Torment of their Lord (Allah), none may ever feel safe from.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ
29. Who guard their private parts and carnal desires -
阿拉伯语经注:
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ
30. Except from their wives or those whom their right hands possess, in which case, they are not to be blamed;
阿拉伯语经注:
فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ
31. But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is who are the transgressors.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
32. Who honor their trusts and promise²,
2. Muhammad (ﷺ), God's messenger said: "Oh believers, guarantee me you will do six things and I guarantee you Paradise. Whenever you speak say the truth. Fulfill your promises when you make them. When you are entrusted with something, carry out that trust. Safeguard your private parts, lower your gaze and prevent your hands from (stealing and) harming others.”
The prophet (ﷺ) also said: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe. And the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden."
The Muslim does not insult, curse, or backbite, nor does he seek to sow any type of evil or corruption among people. Also, people are safe from his hand, so he does not assault them, take their property without right, or do anything of that nature. The real emigrant, is the one who gives up what Allah, the Almighty, has forbidden. 
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ
33. Who testify to what they have witnessed,
3. Everyone who acknowledges and testifies that Allah is the only true God and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Allah will admit him to Paradise, but the one who denies Allah and His messenger, the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), will be denied to enter Paradise.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ
34. Those who (carefully) maintain their prayer and do not miss it,
阿拉伯语经注:
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ
35. They will be in Gardens, honored.
阿拉伯语经注:
فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ
36. What is the matter with those who deny (the Truth of Islam) that they roam around you (Muhammad),
阿拉伯语经注:
عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
37. From the right hand and from the left, in crowds?
阿拉伯语经注:
أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٖ
38. Does every one of them expect to enter a garden of bliss?
阿拉伯语经注:
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
39. By no means. For they know well out of what We have created them⁴.
4. I.e., an unworthy seminal fluid. Yet they are arrogant, neglectful of the Hereafter life.
阿拉伯语经注:
فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ
40. By the Lord (Allah) of all the (points in the) East and the West⁵, We are certainly Able -
5. And what is in them, of the sun and the moon and the constellations. Allah is the One Who determines the daily points of sunrise and sunset according to each season by the rotation of the earth around its axis.
阿拉伯语经注:
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ
41. To replace them with better than them, and never shall We be overcome.
阿拉伯语经注:
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
42. So leave them alone to engage in vain talk and play until they meet their Day which they are threatened;
阿拉伯语经注:
يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعٗا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٖ يُوفِضُونَ
43. The Day on which they will come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were toward an erected idol, hastening⁶.
6. I.e., just as they used to race towards a newly appointed idol, to be among the first of its worshipers.
阿拉伯语经注:
خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ
44. With their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace. That is the Day which they were promised.
