Sura el-Alek

Ayah: 1

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
Čitaj, u ime Gospodara tvoga, koji stvara,

Ayah: 2

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ
stvara čovjeka od ugruška!

ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
Čitaj, plemenit je Gospodar tvoj,

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
koji poučava peru,

Ayah: 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ
koji čovjeka poučava onome što ne zna.

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
Uistinu, čovjek se uzobijesti

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ
čim se neovisnim osjeti,

Ayah: 8

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ
a Gospodaru tvome će se, doista, svi vratiti!

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ
Vidje li ti onoga koji brani

Ayah: 10

عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
robu da molitvu obavi?

Ayah: 11

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
Reci mi ako on misli da je na Pravome putu,

Ayah: 12

أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ
ili ako bogobojaznost naređuje?! @Corrected
ili ako traži da se kumirima moli,

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
reci mi, ako on poriče i glavu okreće –

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
zar on ne zna da Allah sve vidi?

كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
Ne valja to! Ako se ne okani, dohvatićemo ga za kiku,

Ayah: 16

نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ
kiku lažnu i grješnu,

Ayah: 17

فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
pa neka on pozove društvo svoje –

Ayah: 18

سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
Mi ćemo pozvati zebanije.

Ayah: 19

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب۩
Ne valja to! Ti njega ne slušaj, već molitvu obavljaj i nastoj da se Gospodaru svome približiš!
