164 : 2

إِنَّ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلَّتِي تَجۡرِي فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٖ وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلۡمُسَخَّرِ بَيۡنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

164. In the creation of the heavens and the earth, in the alternation of night and day, in the ships that sail across the sea with that which benefits the people, in the water Allāh sends down from the sky -reviving thereby the earth after its death and dispersing upon it all (kinds of) creatures - in the directing of winds and the clouds made subservient between the sky and the earth, surely there are Signs for a people who use their reason.

165 : 2

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَندَادٗا يُحِبُّونَهُمۡ كَحُبِّ ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَشَدُّ حُبّٗا لِّلَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ إِذۡ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلۡقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعٗا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

165. Yet among the people are those who take (for worship) others besides Allāh as equals [to Him]. They love them with a love that should be for Allāh alone. But those who believe are more intense in their love for Allāh ^[54]. And if only those who committed wrong (by associating others with Allāh) would see that - at the moment when they behold the Punishment - (they will realize) that all power belongs to Allāh entirely, and that Allah is severe in punishment.

[54]. Muhammad, God's messenger ﷺ said, “Whoever loves for the sake of God, hates for the sake of God, gives for the sake of God, and withholds for the sake of God, has perfected the faith.”
Whoever loves for the sake of God and hates for the sake of God, and befriends for the sake of God and shows enmity
for the sake of God, would get God’s closeness. Without abiding by this, no one can get the real taste (sweetness) of Faith though he may have been a frequent offerer of prayer and fasts. Today people keep relationship, and love only for some worldly reason but this will not provide them any benefit on the Day of Judgement.

166 : 2

إِذۡ تَبَرَّأَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتُّبِعُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُواْ وَرَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَسۡبَابُ

166. When those who were followed disown those who followed them, and see the Punishment, and all ties between them are cut off.

167 : 2

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةٗ فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُمۡ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُواْ مِنَّاۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

167. Those who followed will say: "If only we had one more chance, so we would disown them as they disowned us." Thus will Allāh show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they will never escape the Fire.

168 : 2

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ حَلَٰلٗا طَيِّبٗا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٌ

168. O people, eat of what is lawful and good on the earth ^[55]. Do not follow the footsteps of Satan; for he is a clear enemy to you.

[55]. Two conditions for consuming food: lawful, and beneficial; not harmful.

169 : 2

إِنَّمَا يَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلسُّوٓءِ وَٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

169. He (Satan) only commands you to commit evil and indecency, and that you speak about Allāh what you do not know.
