قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا
77. Say (O Prophet): "What would My Lord (Allāh) care for you were it not for your prayer [24]." But now you have already denied (the Truth) [25], so soon it will be the inevitable (punishment) [26].
[24]. i.e., your faith, and worshiping Him alone, the genuine purpose for He created you.
[25]. The Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad.
[26] i.e., the recompense for your denial in the Hereafter life, in addition to what will befall you in this world.
