Abasa (Yazinze Umunya)

Ayah: 1

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
(Intumwa Muhamadi) yazinze umunya inatera umugongo.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
Ubwo umuntu utabona (Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum) yari aje ayisanga (igihe yigishaga bamwe mu bikomerezwa by’Abakurayishi).

Ayah: 3

وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
Ese wabibwirwa n’iki? Wenda arashaka kwiyeza?

Ayah: 4

أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
Cyangwa akakira urwibutso, hanyuma urwibutso rukamugirira akamaro?

Ayah: 5

أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
Naho wa wundi wirata yumva ko adakeneye (kuyoboka),

فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
Ni we witaho,

Ayah: 7

وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
Kandi nta cyo wabazwa aramutse atiyejeje (ngo ave mu buhakanyi, kuko wowe icyo ushinzwe ari ugusohoza ubutumwa bwa Allah gusa).

Ayah: 8

وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
Ariko wa wundi uje akugana yihuta,

وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
Kandi akaba atinya (Allah n’ibihano bye),

Ayah: 10

فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
Uramwirengagiza (ukita ku bandi),

Ayah: 11

كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
Oya ntibikwiye! Mu by’ukuri (iyi Qur’an) ni urwibutso.

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
Bityo, ubishaka nayizirikane.

فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ
(Iri) mu nyandiko zirinzwe mu cyubahiro (Lawuhul Mahfudh),

مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
Zubahitse kandi zejejwe,

بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
Ziri mu maboko y’abanditsi (abamalayika bajyana ubutumwa ku bantu),

كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
B’abanyacyubahiro kandi b’inyangamugayo.

Ayah: 17

قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
Umuntu (w’umuhakanyi) navumwe! Mbega ukuntu ari umuhakanyi (w’indashima)!

مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
Ese (Allah) yamuremye mu ki?

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
Yamuremye mu ntanga, arangije amugenera uko azabaho,

ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
Nuko amworohereza inzira (y’imibereho ye).

ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
Nyuma amugenera urupfu no gushyingurwa,

ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
Kandi igihe azabishakira azamuzura.

كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
Oya! Nyamara (umuntu) ntarakora ibyo yamutegetse.

فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
Ngaho umuntu niyitegereze amafunguro ye;

أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا
Uko tumanura amazi (mu kirere) yisuka ari menshi,

ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
Nuko tugasatura ubutaka uko bikwiye (kugira ngo amazi abashe kubwinjiramo n’imbuto zimere),

Ayah: 27

فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا
Maze tukabumezamo impeke,

وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
N’imizabibu n’imboga,

Ayah: 29

وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا
N’imizeti n’imitende,

Ayah: 30

وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
N’imirima igizwe n’ibiti by’inzitane,

Ayah: 31

وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
N’imbuto n’ubwatsi,

Ayah: 32

مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
Kugira ngo bibagirire akamaro, mwe n’amatungo yanyu.

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
Ariko ubwo urusaku ruziba amatwi (impanda y’imperuka) ruzaza,

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ
Uwo munsi umuntu azahunga umuvandimwe we,

وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
(Ahunge) nyina na se,

Ayah: 36

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
N’umugore we n’abana be,

Ayah: 37

لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
Kuri uwo munsi, buri muntu azaba afite ibimuhangayikishije (bituma atita ku bandi).

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
Kuri uwo munsi, uburanga (bw’abemeramana) buzaba bwererana,

ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
Bamwenyura, bishimiye inkuru nziza bahawe (y’Ijuru).

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
Naho uburanga (bw’abahakanyi) kuri uwo munsi buzaba bwuzuye umukungugu,

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
Bwarenzwe n’umwijima.

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
Abo ni bo bahakanyi b’inkozi z’ibibi.
