Surat Al-Masad

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Imehasirika mikono miwili ya Abu Lahab, na yeye mwenyewe ameangamia, kwa kumuudhi Mtume, rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na amani zimshukie. Hasara ya Abu Lahab ilithubutu.

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Hayakumfalia kitu mali yake na watoto wake. Kwani hivyo havitamkinga na adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu pindi ikimshukia.

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
Ataingia kwenye Moto wenye kuroroma,

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
yeye na mke wake ambaye alikuwa akibeba miba na kuiweka kwenye njia anayopita Mtume, rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na amani zimshukie, ili kumuudhi.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Kwenye shingo yake patakuwa na kamba imara ya lifu gumu lilio kavu; atabebewa nayo kwenye Moto wa Jahanamu, kisha atarushwa nayo mpaka chini.
