Ayah: 1

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
Читай! Ім’ям Господа твого, Який створив,

Ayah: 2

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ
створив людину зі згустку крові!

Ayah: 3

ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
Читай! І Господь твій — Найщедріший,

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
Який навчив письма пером.

Ayah: 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ
Навчив людину того, чого вона не знала.

Ayah: 6

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
Але ж ні! Порушує людина межі,

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ
коли здається їй, що вона не потребує нічого.

Ayah: 8

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ
Воістину, до Господа твого повернення!

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ
Чи бачив ти того, який заважає

Ayah: 10

عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
рабу Нашому молитися?

Ayah: 11

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
Як ти вважаєш — а раптом він був на праведному шляху

Ayah: 12

أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ
та закликав до богобоязливості?

Ayah: 13

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
Як ти вважаєш — а якщо він сприйняв правду за оману та й відвернувся,

Ayah: 14

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
то чи не знав він, що Аллаг бачить його?

كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
Але ж ні! Якщо він не зупиниться, Ми схопимо його за чуб,

Ayah: 16

نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ
чуб брехливий, грішний!

Ayah: 17

فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
Нехай кличе своїх захисників!

Ayah: 18

سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
Ми ж покличемо вартових пекла!

Ayah: 19

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب۩
Але ж ні, не корися йому, а вклонися низько Господу й наближайся до Нього!
