Al-Wāqi‘ah
1

56
إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ
1. When the Event (of Doom) befalls [1].
[1]. I.e., the Day of Resurrection and judgement.
التفاسير:

2
:
56
لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ
2.There is no denying at its occurrence,
التفاسير:

:
56
خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ
3. Abasing (some), exalting (others) [2].
[2]. According to their deeds rather than wealth and social position, as is the case in this world. The pious will be elevated in Paradise and the wicked will be debased in Hell.

56
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا
4. When the earth is convulsed with (a severe) convulsion.
التفاسير:

5
:
56
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا
5. And the mountains are ground up to powder,
التفاسير:
|
6
:
56
فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا
6. becoming scattered (particles of) dust -
التفاسير:
|
7
:
56
وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ
7. And you will be (devided) into) three pairs 'groups':
التفاسير:

:
56
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
8. Those of the right hand; what are those on the right hand [3]?
[3]. Those whose books of records will be given in their right hands and are destined for Paradise.

56
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
9. And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand [4]?
[4]. Those whose books of records will be given in their left hands and are destined for Hell.

56
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
10. And the foremost (in faith and virtue) will be the foremost (in entering Paradise),
التفاسير:
|
11
:
56
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
11. These (are) the ones drawn near (to Allah),
التفاسير:
|
12
:
56
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
12. In Gardens of Bliss,
التفاسير:
|
13
:
56
ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
13. A multitude of the early (believers),
التفاسير:
|
14
:
56
وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
14. And a few from the later (generations),
التفاسير:
|
15
:
56
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ
15. (They will be) On couches woven with gold and precious stones.
التفاسير:
|
16
:
56
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ
16. Reclining on it facing one another,
