In a broken world, none of us escape unwounded—hurt and scars are deeply embedded in each of us. But deeper still is our love to Allāh and His last and final messenger, the Prophet Muhammad; love tender enough to draw out those thorns with the balm of compassion, willing to embrace both friend and enemy to find healing together until the word of torment proves true only against those who insist in rejecting the truth of Islam.
