مەنالار تەرجىمىسى سۈرە نازىئات - ئىنگىلىزچە تەرجىمىسى- ئابدۇللاھ ھەسەن ياقۇپ - قۇرئان كەرىم ئىنىسكىلوپىدىيىسى

An-Nāzi‘āt

1 : 79

وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرۡقٗا

1. (I swear) by those (angels) who pull out (evil souls) ^[1] violently (upon death),

[1]. I e., the deniers.

2 : 79

وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشۡطٗا

2. And by those (angels) who draw out (good souls) gently (upon death),

3 : 79

وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبۡحٗا

3. And (by) the (stars and planets) gliding through space swiftly ^[2],

[2]. With Allah’s command.

4 : 79

فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقٗا

4. Then (by) those (angels) who overtake one other in a race ^[3],

[3]. Racing to deliver the souls of the believers to Paradise.

5 : 79

فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرٗا

5. And (by) those (angels) who arrange each matter ^[4],

[4]. According to Allāh's decree: that you will be resurrected.

6 : 79

يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ

6. On the Day when (the world) convulses ^[5] mighty convulsion,

[5]. by the first blowing of the trumpet.

7 : 79

تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ

7. There will follow it the subsequent one ^[6].

[6]. The second blowing of the Trumpet for Resurrection, and everybody will be raised up.

8 : 79

قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ

8. (Some) hearts ^[7] on that Day will be pounding,

[7]. Of those who denied the Resurrection and Judgment.

9 : 79

أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ

9. And their eyesights are downcast.

10 : 79

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ

10. (But now) they say (mockingly): "Shall we really be brought back to our former state of life (after death)?

11 : 79

أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا نَّخِرَةٗ

11. Even when we are decayed bones?"

12 : 79

قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذٗا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ

12. They say: "That then would be a return with a (total) loss."

13 : 79

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ

13. But it is only a single (mighty) shout ^[8],

[8]. The second Blowing of the Trumpet.

14 : 79

فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ

14. and behold, they are (all) wakeful ^[9].

[9]. I.e., back to life on the open ground after their death for Judgment.

15 : 79

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

15. Has there reached you (O Muhammad)
the story of Moses?

16 : 79

إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

16. When his Lord (Allāh) called him (Moses) in the Sacred valley of Tuwa,

17 : 79

ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

17. (commanding), "Go to Pharaoh, surely he has transgressed (all bounds)."

18 : 79

فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

18. And say to him: "Is for you (a desire that you turn towards Allāh) that to purify yourself (from idolatry and sins)?

19 : 79

وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

19. And I will guide you to (Allāh) your Lord so you would be in awe (of Him).

20 : 79

فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

20. So he (Moses) showed him the great Sign ^[10].

[10]. I.e., his staff becoming a manifest snake.

21 : 79

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ

21. Yet he (i.e., Pharaoh) denied and disobeyed (Allāh).

22 : 79

ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ

22. Then he turned his back, striving.

23 : 79

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

23. then he (pharoah) gathered (his people) and called out,

24 : 79

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

24. and he said: "I am your lord, the most high."

25 : 79

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

25. So Allāh seized him in exemplary punishment ^[11] for the last and the first ^[12].

[11]. By drowning him in the sea, and in the Hereafter by subjecting him to the most severe punishment.
[12]. Transgression i.e., for Pharaoh's setting himself as a deity and for his previous oppression of the people and denial of Moses's Message.

26 : 79

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ

26. There is certainly a lesson in this for whosoever stands in awe (of Allāh)!

27 : 79

ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا

27. Are you harder in creation, or the heaven? He (Allāh) built it.

28 : 79

رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا

28. He raised up its vault and proportioned it,

29 : 79

وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا

29. And He darkened its night and brought out its forenoon (brightness).

30 : 79

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ

30. And the earth after that, He spread out.

31 : 79

أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا

31. He brought out from it its water and its pasture,

32 : 79

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا

32. And the mountains He set firmly,

33 : 79

مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ

33. A provision for you and for your cattle.

34 : 79

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

34. So when the Greatest Calamity comes ^[13] -

[13]. The second blowing of the trumpet, causing all to rise from the dead for resurrection and judgement.

35 : 79

يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ

35. (On the) Day when man will remember (all) what he strove for (good or bad),

36 : 79

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ

36. And Hellfire will be exposed for (all) those who see,

37 : 79

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ

37. Then as for him who has transgressed,

38 : 79

وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

38. And preferred the worldly life,

39 : 79

فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

39. Then surely the Hell - that is the final abode.

40 : 79

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

40. But as for him who is in awe (being ever conscious of the) standing in the Presence of His Lord (Allāh, for reckoning), and restrains (his) soul from lowly desires,

41 : 79

فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

41. Then surely Paradise - that is the abode.

42 : 79

يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا

42. They ask you (O Muhammad), about the Hour (of Doom), when is its appointed time?

43 : 79

فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ

43. How could you possibly mention it ^[14]?

[14]. Meaning that he (ﷺ) had no knowledge of it, though he is one of its Signs.

44 : 79

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ

44. To your Lord is its ultimate Knowledge.

45 : 79

إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰهَا

45. You (O Muhammad) are only a warner (for him) who fears it.

46 : 79

كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا

46. On the Day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had not stayed (in this world) except for an evening or a morning thereof.
