Abasa

Ayah: 1

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
1. [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] Frunciste el ceño y le diste la espalda
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
2. al ciego cuando se presentó ante ti[1].
[1] Referencia a cuando ‘Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum, que era ciego, interrumpió al Profeta r que estaba predicando el Islam a los nobles de la tribu de Quraish.

Ayah: 3

وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
3. ¿Cómo sabes que no quería purificarse [aprendiendo de ti el conocimiento],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
4. o beneficiarse con tus enseñanzas?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 5

أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
5. En cambio, al soberbio
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 6

فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
6. le dedicaste toda tu atención.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 7

وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
7. Pero tú no eres responsable si él rechaza purificarse [de la idolatría, ya que tu obligación solo es transmitir el Mensaje].

Ayah: 8

وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
8. En cambio, aquel que se presentó ante ti con deseos [de aprender],

Ayah: 9

وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
9. teniendo temor de Dios,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 10

فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
10. te apartaste de él.

Ayah: 11

كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
11. No lo vuelvas a hacer, porque este Mensaje es para toda la humanidad.

Ayah: 12

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
12. Quien quiera, que reflexione y obre acorde a él.

Ayah: 13

فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ
13. Pues el Mensaje está registrado en páginas honorables,

Ayah: 14

مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
14. distinguidas y purificadas,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 15

بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
15. en manos de [ángeles] encargados de ejecutar las órdenes de Dios,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 16

كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
16. nobles y obedientes.

Ayah: 17

قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
17. El ser humano se destruye a sí mismo con su ingratitud.

Ayah: 18

مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
18. ¿Acaso no sabe de qué ha sido creado?

Ayah: 19

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
19. De un óvulo fecundado, que crece en etapas según lo [que Él ha] establecido.

Ayah: 20

ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
20. Luego le facilita el camino.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 21

ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
21. Luego lo hace morir y ser enterrado.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 22

ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
22. Finalmente lo resucita cuando Él quiere.

Ayah: 23

كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
23. Pero a pesar de esto no cumple con los preceptos que se le ordenan.

Ayah: 24

فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
24. El ser humano debería reflexionar sobre su alimento:

Ayah: 25

أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا
25. Hice descender el agua en abundancia,

Ayah: 26

ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
26. luego hice que la tierra brotara.

Ayah: 27

فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا
27. Hice surgir de ella granos,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 28

وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
28. vides, hierbas,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 29

وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا
29. olivos, palmeras,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 30

وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
30. huertos frondosos,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 31

وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
31. frutos y forraje
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 32

مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
32. para beneficio de ustedes y de sus rebaños.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 33

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
33. El día que llegue el estruendo terrible [comenzando el fin del mundo],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 34

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ
34. el ser humano huirá de su hermano,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 35

وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
35. de su madre y de su padre,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 36

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
36. de su esposa y de sus hijos.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 37

لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
37. Ese día cada uno estará preocupado por sí mismo.

Ayah: 38

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
38. Ese día habrá rostros radiantes,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 39

ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
39. risueños y felices [por haber alcanzado la salvación].
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 40

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
40. Pero habrá otros rostros ensombrecidos,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 41

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
41. apesadumbrados [por haber merecido la condena al Infierno].
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 42

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
42. Esos serán los que rechazaron el Mensaje y los transgresores [de la ley].
