Translation of the meanings Surah: An-Nāzi‘āt   Ayah:

Sura An-Naazi'aat

Ayah: 1

وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرۡقٗا
Juro por los [ángeles] que arrancan las almas [de los que desmienten el Mensaje],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشۡطٗا
por los [ángeles] que toman suavemente las almas [de los creyentes],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبۡحٗا
por los [ángeles] que viajan por el cosmos,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقٗا
por los [ángeles] que se apresuran [a cumplir su función]
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 5

فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرٗا
y por los [ángeles] que cumplen su mandato.

Ayah: 6

يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ
Que el día que sea tocada la trompeta por primera vez [y comience el fin del mundo]

Ayah: 7

تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
y luego sea tocada por segunda vez [y comience la resurrección],

Ayah: 8

قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ
los corazones se estremecerán

Ayah: 9

أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ
y las miradas estarán abatidas.

Ayah: 10

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ
Pero a pesar de esto [los que desmienten el Mensaje] dicen: "¿Acaso seremos resucitados de las tumbas

Ayah: 11

أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا نَّخِرَةٗ
a pesar de habernos convertido en polvo?"

Ayah: 12

قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذٗا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ
Dicen: "Si sucediera, estaríamos arruinados".

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ
Pero bastará que la trompeta sea tocada una vez

Ayah: 14

فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ
para que todos salgan de sus tumbas.

Ayah: 15

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ
¿Acaso has escuchado la historia de Moisés?

Ayah: 16

إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
Cuando su Señor lo llamó en el valle sagrado de Tuwa
en el valle sagrado de Tuwa: Ver Corán 20:112.

Ayah: 17

ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
[y le dijo:] "Ve ante el Faraón, pues se ha excedido,

Ayah: 18

فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ
y dile: ‘¿No deseas purificar tu comportamiento?

Ayah: 19

وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ
Yo te enseñaré el sendero de tu Señor para que seas piadoso’".

Ayah: 20

فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
Y [Moisés] le mostró [al Faraón] uno de sus grandes milagros.
Referencia a cuando Moisés arrojó su vara y esta se convirtió en serpiente, y cuando introdujo su mano cerca de su corazón y esta salió blanca, resplandeciente.

Ayah: 21

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ
Pero el Faraón lo desmintió y rechazó seguirlo.

Ayah: 22

ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ
Luego le dio la espalda y desobedeció [el Mensaje].

Ayah: 23

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
Y convocó [a su pueblo] y les dijo:

Ayah: 24

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
"Yo soy su Señor supremo".

Ayah: 25

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ
Por eso Dios lo castigará en la otra vida, pero también en esta.

Ayah: 26

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ
En esta historia hay motivo de reflexión para quien tiene temor de Dios.

Ayah: 27

ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا
¿Acaso piensan que ustedes fueron más difíciles de crear que el cielo que Él edificó?

Ayah: 28

رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا
Él lo elevó y perfeccionó su construcción.

Ayah: 29

وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا
Dios hizo que la noche fuese oscura y que le sucediera la claridad de la mañana.

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ
Luego extendió la tierra.

Ayah: 31

أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا
Hizo surgir de ella agua y pasturas.

Ayah: 32

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا
Fijó las montañas.

Ayah: 33

مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
Todo para beneficio de ustedes y de sus rebaños.

Ayah: 34

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
El día que suceda la gran calamidad [el fin del mundo]

Ayah: 35

يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ
el ser humano recordará todo lo que haya hecho,

Ayah: 36

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ
y será expuesto el fuego del Infierno para que lo vean.

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ
Quien se haya extralimitado

Ayah: 38

وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
y preferido la vida mundanal,

Ayah: 39

فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ
su morada será el Infierno.

Ayah: 40

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ
En cambio, quien haya tenido conciencia de que comparecerá ante su Señor y haya preservado su alma de seguir sus pasiones,

Ayah: 41

فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ
su morada será el Paraíso.

Ayah: 42

يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا
Te preguntan cuándo será la hora del Juicio Final.

Ayah: 43

فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ
Pero tú [¡oh, Mujámmad!] no tienes conocimiento de cuándo será.

Ayah: 44

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ
Solo tu Señor lo sabe.

Ayah: 45

إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰهَا
Tú solamente eres un advertidor para quienes tienen temor [al Juicio].

Ayah: 46

كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا
El día que lo vean suceder, les parecerá haber permanecido en la vida mundanal solo el tiempo equivalente a una tarde o una mañana.
Como en muchos otros lugares del Corán (2:259, 17:52, 18:19, 20:103-104, 23:112-113, 30:55, etc.), esto es una indicación sutil de la naturaleza terrenal e ilusoria del concepto humano de “tiempo”, un concepto que perderá todo significado en el contexto de la realidad última comprendida en el término “más allá” (Al Ájira).
